Bin Ends
Bin Ends are close to our heart as we started our first shop in the last recession (1993) selling end of line wines at a discount. We learned so much about wine at that time because we would buy different wines every week - a habit that still informs our buying philosophy.
So what are Bin Ends?
Strictly speaking they are the last few bottles of wines left in a 'bin' or cellar space. Most of our College customers in Cambridge and Oxford still fill up a 'bin' in the cellars with new wines and when the wine is used up the remaining bottles are moved out to make room for a new wine.
To most of us bin ends are promotional lines that are in short supply and cannot be replaced. When it's gone it's gone is the motto. That can be because they are the last bottles of a particular vintage; a parcel of wines from a private cellar; a purchase from a liquidator of a less fortunate business.
If you are interested in anything from the range here, please don't hesitate in ordering because these are discounted lines that are very popular and can sell out fast.
