The Bedford River Festival Wine Encounter

Like wine? Love food?

Come tuck into delicious wines, tasty food, and maybe get that old bottle you’ve been keeping under the stairs valued at the first ever River Festival Wine Encounter.


With over 60 delicious wines to enjoy from a bunch of the region’s most dedicated and helpful independent wine merchants, and our own local wine producer (Warden Abbey Vineyards), a tasty time is guaranteed, whether you decide to stick to your favourites, or try something totally new.


You choose whether you dive right in, or limber up your taste buds first with one of the Wine Tasting Tutorials we’ll be running through the day. Wines will also be available to buy on the day (perfect for presents, starting your wine collection, or just for your picnic by the river).
