Comparative Sherry Tasting Edinburgh

We’ll be doing a flight of comparative tastings where you’ll be trying wines in pairs (see below for details). Tasting like this really helps you develop your understanding of wine: you’re not waiting for minutes in between sips so your impressions from one wine to the next are all the more fresh.

If you have ever asked us for advice about sherry, you’ll know that it’s a subject close to our hearts. This is not so much a comparative tasting as an excuse for Alan and I to share wines that we are really very passionate about promoting. That anyone remains unaware of the gorgeous diversity of sherry is a travesty, and something we are loathed to accept without a fight. Please come along, this tasting could change your life.  Be warned, we may just jabber away like a pair of smitten 15 year olds.

When? Wednesday, 8th September, 7pm
Where? Maxi's Cafe, just opposite our branch on Raeburn Place, Edinburgh

Tickets cost £15 and are available at our branch in Edinburgh, 30b Raeburn Place. Call (0131) 343 2347 or mail stockbridge@edinburghwine.com
