Cambridge Wine Merchants' aim is to provide you, our customer, with an online shopping facility that is both easy to use and secure. Please find listed below all those little things that make life a little easier.
The standard price quoted is for UK Delivery only, please see our delivery charges page for more information about local and worldwide delivery.
If the item is in stock we will try to despatch your order on the day that you place it - but please allow up to 28 days for delivery.
Our courier company will attempt to deliver twice and leave cards both times before taking the goods back to their nearest depot, whereupon the recipient becomes responsible for their collection. If the address is incorrect the goods will be returned to Cambridge Wine Merchants and a charge incurred for re-delivery.
Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

Prices and Descriptions
Prices, offers and details are as set out in our website. These may be subject to change without notice. The product price that is selected on the website (for instance the individual bottle price or price per dozen) is the price we apply when processing your order.
Although we make every effort to do so, we cannot guarantee vintages. We will contact you if a vintage that you have ordered has become unavailable. Where possible we aim to satisfy orders using more recent vintages and if we need to do this with your order we will do so in consultation with you.
With the exception of specific offers or promotions, our twelve bottle case price only applies to unmixed cases of 12 bottles. Every care has been taken to ensure descriptions, measurements, colours and prices are correct. All items are subject to availability at the time of ordering.
En Primeur Ordering & DeliveryOrders placed from our en primeur selection do not include duty, VAT or onward delivery charges. The order is not an acceptance by Cambridge Wine Merchants of availability. Your card will be charged upon confirmation of availability. Upon arrival of the wine in the UK, you will be contacted to arrange payment of duty, VAT and onward delivery at prevailing rates. Delivery currently costs £9.99 per package. Terms and Conditions Of Sale
Orders - We will send you an acknowledgement of your order by email, to confirm our receipt of your order. An order is not a contract. All orders are subject to availability as wines are rare and may sell out. No payment will be taken until we have confirmed your order and are able to send you a despatch note.
Cancellations - Goods being cancelled must be done so within 7 working days, beginning the day after receipt of the goods. To cancel your order you must notify us in writing (by letter or email). Cambridge Wine Merchants will refund any monies within 30 days of cancellation. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Cooling off period - Goods maybe returned, for any reason, within 7 working days. We can be notified of any returning goods by 'phoning 01954 214519 and emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. A full refund will be made within 30 days of cancellation (Cambridge Wine Merchants reserves the right to request that the customer meets the cost of returning the goods). This does not affect you statutory rights as a consumer.
Faulty goods - In the event of goods being faulty, please return to Cambridge Wine Merchants for a replacement or refund, goods must be rejected within 7 working days beginning the day after receipt of the goods. If you have any queries regarding faulty goods please email email@example.com.
Please keep all packaging and return the goods as they were sent to you.
Include your name, address, order number, telephone number and whether you would like a replacement or refund.
Take your parcel(s) to your nearest post office and send them to Cambridge Wine Merchants, The Concert Barn, Childerley Hall CB23 8BA
Privacy and Security
We want you to shop with us with total confidence. All personal information collected at time of ordering is transferred from our website into our secure database and facilitates the process when you come to order again. Our secure server software fully encrypts all your personal information including credit / debit card number, name and address. None of this information is made available to third parties.
