Looks to me like the trend in Oz is towards cooler climate vineyards, smaller yields and more diverse grape varieties – rather as in New Zealand. Look out for: Marsanne, Riesling, Verdelho, Sangiovese, Shiraz/Viognier blends, Durif (which is Petit Syrah in USA).
