A splendid cognac from top producer Maxime Trijol. This elegant VSOP is a must-try. The family began distilling in 1859 and Maxime set up his own distillery in 1962.

A superb VSOP with a strong complex nose. Vanilla, prunes, plums and a flash of violet.

The base distillate comes through the "Coffey Still", a traditional continuous still which produces Nikka's whiskies, giving a silky texture and rich body. Botanicals include Japanese citrus such as Yuzu, Kabosu, Amanatsu, Apple and Sansho pepper.

Reflecting the spirit of the Bluegrass State nuanced, mellow, and earthy. Barrels often aged in excess of eight years. Truly “small batch,” each batch of Bourbon is typically composed of no more than two dozen barrels.

Deep butterscotch and vanilla notes, hints of caramel and dried fruit with a ripened fruit finish. The term unblended comes from this whiskey never containing grain neutral spirits.

Sakura Flower, Yuzu Peel, Sencha Tea, Sansho Pepper, Sakura Leaf and Gyokuro Tea. The six natural Japanese botanicals are embossed on the hexagonal bottle that symbolises ROKU (which means 'six' in Japanese). 

Released in 2014, this no-age statement Taketsuru bottling is a blend of malts aged 10 years on average in different types of oak casks. A high percentage of Miyagikyo malt gives a fresh fruity character, joined by mature aromas from an important sherry cask influence.

The Nikka Coffey Malt is the result of a unique distillation process in “Coffey” type column stills, which are normally used for grain whisky production. This rare 100% malt bottling offers a surprisingly rich texture.

Nikka from the Barrel is big-boned and bursting with character. Not averse to a drop of water, either. A real star, winning top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards in 2007 and 2010.

Finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks

After mellowing in a refill cask to develop the soft distillery character for a decade, a secondary maturation in a specifically chosen Amontillado cask wood ensures that all the good work continues.

Juniper, Grapefruit skins and Rhubarb infused in Italian grain spirit for 36 hours gives orange colour. Blended with second distillate made in our vacuum still of Juniper, Coriander, Lemon Peel, Orange Peel, Angelica, Orris Root. Distilled in stainless steel vacuum still for 5 hours.

Made using Sicilian blood oranges. Brilliantly bright and juicy. A hint of vanilla and pink grapefruit in the palate help balance this gin and give complexity. Refreshing.

Beefeater is an exceptionally clean, bold gin whose extravagant juniper character is balanced with strong citric notes

Made with Bulgarian coriander, blueberries and blackberries as well as bittersweet Valencia orange peels.

A peculiarly sophisticated gin distilled in Scotland with the essence of Bulgarian rose petals and cucumber. Delightfully fragrant with juniper notes more delicate than most. Best served with a slice of cucumber.

Nestled in a charming rural spot near Pitlochry, this is one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland. Just three men work here and they do almost everything by hand, just as it was. A full-bodied, oily, sherried dram, this is a true cult favourite and seems to make an admirer of everyone who is introduced to it.

The initial sweet taste quickly gives way to a complex of oranges, juniper and earthy spice, with an incomparably long finish that’s dominated by the lingering flavour of Sicilian blood orange.

An approachable lightly peated malt, finished in ex bourbon, first fill sherry and some virgin oak casks. Brilliant complexity for such an affordable malt.
