One of our biggest-selling wines. Old vines, Amarone-style appassimento, tiny yields. Wonderfully extracted, deeply layered and complex. A year in French oak. The 'Black Grape of Troy" another southern best. From Decanter "Left on the vine to partially dry, the grapes for this wine were not harvested until early November, giving it a powerful character and rich texture. Dark, liquorice-imbued fruits of the forest aromas alongside menthol and blueberry notes, almost medicinal. It is really rich on the palate with plummy, leathery flavours, macerated black cherries and even a hint of nectarine on the finish. Really gorgeous and complex..."
Delivery
You can choose to have your order delivered or arrange click and collect in store (more info below). Delivery is FREE on orders of £60 or more (Cambridge and surrounds) and £120 or more (UK wide) to a single address in mainland Great Britain.
We normally aim for next day delivery as far as possible (Monday – Friday) on orders placed before midday. Orders placed in the afternoon will be processed the morning after, on a next day service. Orders placed from Friday midday until Sunday will be processed and made ready for dispatch the following Monday. This may take longer if stock needs to be collected from one more locations.
Customers should receive notification from our couriers by text when their order is en route.
Unfortunately, issues in the supply chain can mean longer than normal delivery times may be experienced.

When our drivers deliver any age-restricted products to the delivery address they may ask for proof of age. As a licence holder we have responsibility for the sale and supply of alcohol.
