17.5/20 JancisRobinson.com "Blend of Grenache Gris, Grenache Blanc, Carignan Gris and Carignan Blanc. Very low production. Certified organic (Ecocert). Honey and camphor on the nose, but this wine, as it always is, is a storybook of place and grape, determined to unfold at its own stubborn pace in glass and bottle. But, if you give it time and space, it is more than rewarding. There is a lot of beauty and pleasure in those pages. Roses and quince, Turkish delight and cumin, honey and pistachio. The acidity is soft and spirals through the wine like a deep breath out, leave behind the scent of kumquat. It carries its richness, oak and 14% alcohol with remarkable grace and lightness. Wines like this and Domaine Soulane’s Vieilles Vignes blanc are, surely, the future of Roussillon? (TC)"
