Terres Falmet
Another outstanding Mourvedre-led Languedoc Rose. Yves Falmet has spent time selecting the best plots on his single slope of vines in Creyssian Saint-Chinian for the production of a fresh (12.5% abv) Rose. Pale pink colour, with classic, deep and full Mourvedre aromatics leading to a medium bodied, fresh palate that is citrus led with tangy tamarind, stony deliciousness and good minerality. This is an utterly outstanding bargain. A very serious, utterly drinkable Rose.

Domaine de Pellehaut
From Gascony's leading privately-owned wine estate, this great rosé has a lovely clove spiciness and makes for an excellent dinner wine. Pale pink with salmon tints. Very expressive nose of raspberry to jammy strawberry with a hint of rhubarb and mint, evocative of red-fruit ices and sorbets. All that’s missing from the palate is the sugar in this rounded, lingering and refreshing fruit coulis. A pleasant wine whatever the occasion.

Domaine Gayda
‘La Minuette’ blended rosé comes from La Livinière limestone terroir. Its pale colour and floral bouquet represent the ‘Minuette’ variety of rose planted in Kenya by Tim Ford in 1982, during his 25 years of rose production in Africa. A nod to both the past and the future, ‘La Minuette’ exemplifies estate values of tradition and modernity. Mourvèdre, Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault from outstanding organic Minervois La Livinière vineyards. A lychee-tinged colour evokes a very Provençal style. On the nose, finesse and elegance dominate, offering a refined aromatic bouquet. Notes of fresh grapefruit and tart raspberries blend harmoniously with vine peach, while cherry blossom adds a delicate floral touch. On the palate, the wine is gourmand, with flavours of strawberry and raspberry supported by fresh notes of clementine and bergamot zest. The texture is crisp and tangy, balanced by a light minerality on the finish. Really outstanding for the cash.

Foncalieu
We love this Piquepoul Rosé! Though only 250 acres of this rare grape remain, Piquepoul Noir has been grown in Southern France for centuries. It is originally from the Languedoc and is one of the 13 grapes permitted in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The Piquepoul Rosé Foncalieu 2024 has a very pale pink colour. It is light bodied and clean with refreshing acidity, bright rose petal aromas and citrus notes. Delicious wine.

Miraval
The world super-star of Provence pink. Delicate, complex and pale. Rare and sought-after. Summer in a glass. This stunning 17th-century estate was bought by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in 2009. After many millions spent restoring the vineyards and winery this world-class, super-pale, delicate but intensely flavoured pink became an instant classic - rated by Wine Spectator as the best rosé in the world, with early vintages sold out on release. Winemaking is by our old chum the famed Marc Perrin - whose family owns the stellar Chateauneuf-du-Pape estate Beaucastel, which has famously practised organic farming since the 1950s.

Domaine des Trinités
Dom. des Trinités Le Pioch Rosé 2024 Faugères AOP is brilliant effort in 2024 - the wine not made since 2020 vintage. This harvest was helped along by our very own Kit Ruscombe-King who went out to help with the first grapes into the winery. This 2024 is a very interesting take as the team chose to use half juice that was directly pressed and half juice that was bled. This has given the wine quite a unique texture in rosé terms. A fantastic note below on jancisrobinson.com by Tamlyn Currin really gets the pleasure to be had with this wine. Full bottle 1,139 g. Clear-glass bottle. 40% Cinsault, 40% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre. Non-certified organic. "Peaches and watermelon with a brightness and clarity that seems to sparkle like cut glass in sunlight. Pellucid. And yum! You know when you eat watermelon and it's sweet and dripping down your chin and you know you're not being graceful as you gulp chin-dripping mouthfuls and then you bite deeper into the peel than you should and get this watery shock of green that makes you feel thirsty and thirst-quenched all at once, and then you bite into a shiny brown pip and it's bitter and almondy and crunchy and you're supposed to spit it out but actually you swallow it because. That's this rosé". 16.5/20 jancisrobinson.com

Chateau Saint Pierre
They name this Eden in tribute to the Garden of Eden and that is what this wine reminds me of, a garden. Ripe peach, flowering orange blossom, fresh cut herbs and cantaloupe. Nice, full texture with a longer, fantastically fruit driven finish.

Moorooduc Estate
What happens when you make an 'orange wine' with Pinot Gris. Watermelon pink in colour with pink rose petals, violets, fennel and hints of pickled ginger, rhubarb and red plums. Tangy red berries and Moroccan spice on the palate. Fresh and crunchy with just the right amount of tannin to clean the palate. Sublime cool climate wines from a top producer Established in 1982 by Richard and Jill McIntyre, Moorooduc is a small, family run wine business that has built an enviable reputation for complex and food friendly wines. The philosophy here is to use top quality fruit that is produced by intensive, hands on work in the vineyard and minimal use of chemicals. The wines are then fermented using wild yeasts and minimal intervention to allow them to express the character of their individual sites. Moorooduc is rightly regarded as one of the leading lights in Mornington and one of the finest Pinot Noir producers in Australia.

Pol Roger
Deep in colour, Pol Roger's Vintage Rosé displays outstanding aromatic complexity. The Pinot Noir proportion, especially the 18% vinified as red wine, really makes itself known here, with a panoply of dark red fruit notes - think cherry and ripe plum. It is focused yet simultaneously textural, very much in the Pol Roger house style. Charming now, but with the legs to age for many years to come. 8g/l dosage, five years on lees.

Bodega Tapiz
Clear salmon pink, pink hue, delicate rose, with mineral character, red ripe fruit, strawberry. Refreshing and balanced acidity. A nice elegant Rosé. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately brought to our winery, located just a few miles away from our vineyard. To ensure the best quality, they undergo a double manual selection to separate out the best grapes. The selected grapes immediately enter our special pneumatic press, whose nitrogen blanketing system ensures greater aromatic intensity. Each harvest is fermented in separate tanks, then blended together for the perfect balance and further aging on the lees for extra body. Using proprietary techniques, we are able to gently reduce the wine’s alcohol to 10% while maintaining 100% of the wine’s natural taste. This resulted in an 85 calorie per 5 oz. serving Rosé. The wine is naturally dry with zero sugar, yet imparts the perception of sweetness from the juicy red fruit flavours combined with an elegant minerality. The wine is then cold-stabilized for one week.

Light pink color, aromas of strawberry, sour cherry and ripe cherries, with spicy notes. Balanced, rich and aromatic mouthfeel with a long aftertaste. It is a great accompaniment to shellfish and fishes. Pair it with appetizers of Mediterranean cuisine and salads
