Orders placed from Friday midday until Sunday will be processed and made ready for dispatch the following Monday. This may take longer if stock needs to be collected from one more locations.
Customers should receive notification from our couriers by text when their order is en route.
Unfortunately, issues in the supply chain can mean longer than normal delivery times may be experienced.
Age Verification Policy
When our drivers deliver any age-restricted products to the delivery address they may ask for proof of age. As a licence holder we have responsibility for the sale and supply of alcohol. One of our responsibilities is to ensure we do not sell age-restricted products online to people who are under the minimum legal age.
On our website you will notice that many products carry a notice that they are only for sale to people of legal age. During the check out process you will be asked to confirm that you are of legal age to purchase any age-restricted products.
You will not be able to check out without providing that confirmation.

Delivery Instructions
When you place your order, you can add additional delivery instructions to your order to help your driver deliver your parcel without any delay. Simply fill in the box titled ‘Add a note for your delivery driver here’ on the checkout page. You can find this box at the bottom of the checkout page in the ‘Add delivery instructions’ section. Please use this section to instruct your driver on a specific place to leave the package(s) if the recipient is out, such as ‘If out leave with neighbour’. If you do not provide any instructions, Parcelforce will leave a card and your delivery will be delayed. If there is no-one over the age of 18 available to receive the local delivery, we will contact you to make arrangements.
Calls to mind Vienna 13th April 2023
By Chris (Cambridge)
Have you ever had the good fortune to sit at a heurigen in Vienna, drinking wine from one of those little mugs? If so, then this will bring back memories. If not, this will give you an idea of what you are missing.
Donâ€t mistake it for a serious wine. It isnâ€t, and it isnâ€t meant to be. Rather, itâ€s a wonderfully crisp, refreshing white wine. It doesnâ€t mind being drunk out of a tumbler, rather than a proper wine glass. Have it with some cheese, or charcuterie. Or sauerkraut, if thatâ€s your sort of thing.
Heurigen, for those reading this far, are â€wine taverns,†most famously associated with Vienna, associated with a particular wine producer. They traditionally serve their own, young wine, with a range of foods. Theyâ€re family-friendly, relaxed places, well worth seeking out, particularly the more traditional ones.
