Niepoort
So funky and eccentric and natural. Winemaker Dirk Niepoort regarded as one of the most exciting stars in Portugal. Effectively Port (all grapes are Port grapes) but made as a table wine. Big but in no way over-done. Jancis Robinson Master of Wine and her wine review website approves: "(The red and white) stood out for two things: their delicious, refreshing drinkability and their great value." "this dark-red-fruited well of pleasure is juicy and fresh, cheerful, bright and long. It?s delicious already as the oak influence is subtle and the tannins very fine but there?s absolutely no hurry to drink it."? "Deep cherry red, really juicy, fresh and ripe-fruited. A happy, cheerful and bright wine, persistent too. So much drinking pleasure."

Quinta de la Rosa
Juicy star Douro red from the hugely talented Sophia Bergqvist. Touriga Nacional & Franca, Tinto Roriz et al. eRobertParker "When first seen, this was a big overachiever... it is still beautiful. The pure and intense fruit is simply delicious, but the structure means that this doesn't just seem like a candied fruit bomb... a cut above what wines like this often achieve. It's a "summer red" style, but it adds a bit of distinction. I continue to love this delicious Tinto..."

Ramos Pinto
Intense dark cherry colour with ruby reflexes. A mature and intense vinous nose, showcasing the scent of plums and berries; when shaken the scent is transformed into complex balsamic notes. Concentrated in the mouth, with a compact structure, and silky, well-defined tannins. Its complexity offers hints of blackberries and liquorice. Duas Quintas Red 2019 is a fine example of the classic Duas Quintas style.
