Marcelo Pelleriti
Marcello Pelleriti is one of the leading lights of Argentinian wine making. He trained under the legendary Michel Rolland in Bordeaux and every September and October migrates to France where he is winemaker of Chateau Violette and Chateau Le Gay. It was making wine under the Chateau Violette name that lead to him being the first Argentinian to receive 100pts from wine critic Robert Parker. Deep and complex, there’s notes of red fruits, black fruits, spice and floral notes- think plum, sweet spices and violet. A delicate wine on the palate, with round tannins. Elegant and persistent.
