This excellent white Burgundy comes from the intermediate clay/limestone slopes in the commune of Montagny. Very complex aromas on the nose, with successive fruity, floral and mineral hints, with particular menthol and lemon overtones. A full-bodied and rich wine with amazing finesse and delicate aromas.

60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier. Full bodied and powerful. Toasty, nutty and biscuity with light citrus notes and complex creamy mouthfeel. Excellent with smoked fish dishes.

St Aubin has got to be one of the best value wines in Burgundy. This is a full-bodied, generous and precise wine. Easily accessible, it is the perfect accompaniment for aperitifs or a simple cooked meat (charcuterie), poultry or fish dishes.

From a legendary New Zealand producer. Really pleasing nose. Straight up, classical, pure. Slightly smoky, but soft too. Creamy, sweet lemon, slightly pithy on the finish. Clean, simple, and pleasing.

Les Fourneaux is a Premier Cru vineyard site on the eastern edge of Chablis. The vineyard is named for its warm microclimate (fourneaux means "furnace" in French), and the Chablis wines produced here have ripe, tropical flavours alongside their intense minerality.

Very attractive nose of white orchard fruit, pears even a hint of quince and a floral note. The same on the palate but with a sweet citrus note giving added juiciness. Subtle red apple fruit, full, perfectly balanced oak. Youthful but approachable right away. Fresh and vibrant, this is delicious, and great value!

Winemaking Picked in October 2023. A blend of two blocks: clone 121 from 2019 vines and clone 95 planted in 2009. Grapes pressed and settled before fermenting cool in stainless steel with added yeast. Classically made Champagne with grapes sourced from Premier Cru vineyards in the Marne Valley, a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Côtes des Blanc. This wine spends 3 years ageing prior to disgorgement. Top quality Premier Cru Champagne with full flavoured intense developed citrus and floral aromas.

Gaelle and Jerome Meunier started their own domaine in Rully and Mercurey, before adding a further hectare of Puligny 1er Cru Champs Gain. The Bourgogne Chardonnay 2023 comes from young vines across the villages and has bright aromas of whte peach and flowers, some seasoned oak and plenty of rich tree fruit flavour. A nice balance of ripe fruit and savoury oak.

Pascal Fournillon is a sweet-natured man, always happy when people find him in the sleepy hamlet of Bernouil, some 10 miles north-east of Chablis town. His mum also makes the best gougeres if you need further incentive. Pascal's vineyards cover some 23 hectares of land in the appellations of Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru and Epineuil. He is bottling more and more of his own wine rather than selling in bulk and this means we have access to good allocations of Chablis that Pascal is happy to age for us for a few years till it is perfect to drink. This Bourgogne Chardonnay is from vineyards near Chablis and bears all the hallmarks of it; steely, lemony, fine and elegant.

Vines of average age 40 years. It is important to understand the subsoil and originality of the different parcels that make up the cuvée ‘Terroir’, seeking to be above all the full expression of Chardonnay. On the palate is developed the freshness of minerality peculiar to Pouilly-Fuissé.

Made in tank. Marmalade slightly sweet nose. Nice greengage flavours with good balancing acidity. Stephane Ponsard has wine in his blood. His father also has an estate in Santenay, but he and his wife now look after his father-in-law’s estate, Claude Nouveau. With a large vineyard holding in Santenay 1er Cru Grand Clos Rousseau, old vine plots in Maranges 1er Cru, and plenty of villages vines from both, Stephane has crafted hefty, rich, hedonistic wines in 2018.

Intense fruity aroma, reminiscent of white peach and pear, delicate touches of vanilla. On the palate fresh, velvety with a long finish. 6 months in French oak gives this wine an attractive colour with a scent and taste which is reminiscent of citrus, apples and peaches. A toasted vanilla flavour adds to the complexity.

Deliciously rounded wine with a crisp and clean finish balanced nicely by gentle acidity.

Outstanding Santenay Blanc from the growers with the oldest vines in the appellation. As the name suggests the vineyard sits below the limestone cliff, which offers protection and allows the vines to thrive. The wine has the hallmarks of a white wine grown on limestone too, offering great acidity alongside the ripe fruit character that old vines provide. We have been working with the Legros brothers Sam and Lenaic since, well, for as long as we can remember, at least 25 years. Their vines are very old and seem to enjoy life on the upper slopes of Santenay, protected from the worst excesses of the climate by limestone cliffs and woodland. They harvest late to offer ripeness and richness, a hedonistic style that is irresistible to us and many customers.

Superbly elegant Meursault. Nothing thick or cloying to this wine. Brioche and vanilla on the nose and palate. Gentle layer of lemon hovering over events with a sliver of oak making up an incredibly structured wine. Lovely texture.

This 30 hectare estate near Azé, is run by sixth generation of the Lenoir family, brother Aurelien and Sylvain. They manage all areas of viniculture and viticulture to the exacting environmental HVE standard. Their Macon Villages Poncemeugnes won a coveted Coup de Coeur in the Guide Hachette 2026. "This beautifully vibrant village wine is visually striking. Its aromatic complexity also captivates: chamomile, acacia blossom, grapefruit, fresh mint, and lemon. The palate does not disappoint: it offers volume, freshness, roundness, density, and a long finish. In short, it has everything and already provides immense pleasure. What more could one ask for?"

The 2023 Estate Chardonnay, sampled twice from tank, shows exquisite balance. It has impressive breadth and power, but no sense of heaviness, thanks to its purity of flavour and the little touch of smoky reduction that provides a burgundy-esque lift.

A new cuvée for 2020 from our favourite Champagne House, and created by new MD Benjamin Fourmon who says, 'from the start I set out to create an extra-pure, sugar-free and very expressive champagne.
