Matured in a combination of white, tawny and ruby Port barrels. It is supposed to be a full-on Talisker with robust flavours and a subtle finishing. Bottled at 59.7% ABV.
Nose Fragrant and tropical fruits with floral notes, vanilla and mango.
Palate There's mango throughout, spicy barley, gentle oak and creamy richness.
Finish A touch of allspice, vanilla and fragrant pear skin.
Peat smoke dominates with malty undertones of crushed digestive biscuits. A liquorice note develops as it opensd up and there is a hint of sweetness, like sticky honey glazing.
Richly honeyed and backed with a lifting zestiness which slides into spice and zingy salt. Once the dram opens out, vanilla and sultana stand out followed by notes of toasted oak.

Octomore 13.3 demonstrates the phenomenal force of flavour when combining super-heavy peat with the variable harvests gathered from the island of Islay, on one singular farm. Raised by friend and farmer James Brown, just two miles south of the distillery, this crop of Concerto barley was distilled in 2016 from the 2015 growing season, has been
patiently coaxed through our Victorian distillery before being filled into first fill ex-American oak casks and second fill European oak casks.
Working with Islay barley is always a privilege. The ability to present it in a single estate, single vintage, single malt is perhaps even more poetic. From year to year, Head Distiller Adam Hannett works with the base spirit bestowed upon him by the grower, together with natural factors; the changing climate and weather system, agronomic yield decided by marauding deer and hungry geese, and the terroir of the field itself.
This particular Octomore Islay barley has been matured in a foundational parcel of first fill ex-American whiskey barrels and a supplementary selection of second fill European oak casks, hailing from the Rivesaltes region of France and the Ribera del Duero region of Spain. This European oak gives more subtle structure to the spirit, while the
American oak allows the spirit to take centre stage. Expect vanilla and brown sugar, counterbalanced
with fresh and round green fruit notes. The smoke is, as ever, gentle and dry, building to a long
finish with hints of creosote and sea spray.

Nestled in a charming rural spot near Pitlochry, this is one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland. Just three men work here and they do almost everything by hand, just as it was. A full-bodied, oily, sherried dram, this is a true cult favourite and seems to make an admirer of everyone who is introduced to it.
Aroma : A pungent burst of smoked cream, peppermint and toffee, with Ardbeg’s classic fennel and pine resin. Distant earthy bonfires mix with herbal and fruity (banana & tropical) notes, along with fragrant candle wax.
Taste : An extremely vibrant, hot peppery mouthfeel, leads in to a burst of sherbet lemon sweetness (candied apples, pears & oranges), hints of carbolic soap and tar, more creamytoffee, aniseedand chilli pepper.

Sound of Sleat is the fourth release in the Torabhaig Legacy Series, documenting the evolution of our signature style of 'Smoke with Taste'. This expression is crafted from a blend of Concerto and Laureate malted barley, peated to 78PPM+, and fermented with 100% Pinnacle MG yeast over a 72-hour period. It is matured exclusively in first-fill American Oak (Quercus Alba) casks and bottled at 46% without chill-filtration or colouring. The result is a deeply expressive single malt, offering delicate notes of orange, apricot, and sweet maritime seaweed on the nose, a rich palate of bonfire smoke, honey, and sea salt, and a lingering, elegant finish that captures the spirit of storms, sunsets, and the wild Sound of Sleat.
The 18 year old has always been one of the best of Glenmorangie's core range and it really looks the part. Picked up the top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards 2010.

A small batch of seven barrels from Aultmore distillery has been used to create this Speyside Single Malt, distilled in 2011 and aged for twelve years.
Situated on the edge of the Foggie Moss in the heart of Speyside, Aultmore’s fermentation process lends itself to the identifiable ‘fragrant on the nose, substantial on the tongue’ characteristic.
Something very unusual here - a Manuka wood smoked New Zealand single malt! We were blown away when we tried this. It's properly savoury, with layers of complexity involving notes of bonfire smoke, lemon zest, roasted pineapple and toasted almond. A novel, and brilliant, Islay alternative.
Nothing about this whisky is typical - it's Finnish and made with malted rye. It defies comparison, intriguing the palate with a certain earthy savouriness and a grassy edge. Matured in new American oak like most American rye whiskey, giving it familiar notes of caramel and vanilla - but that's where the similarity ends.
'The Beast of Dufftown', as Mortlach is known, is presented here at 57.1% ABV without chillfiltration after being drawn from a handful of second-fill Oloroso sherry butts. We think this presentation perfectly matches the robust, meaty character of this 2.81 times distilled single malt, which is full of sweet sherry and toffee flavours.
Beginning its life as a Fino, Amontillado Sherry undergoes an additional maturation period without a ‘flor’ layer. This stage of oxidative ageing develops a richer colour and more robust characteristics.
Using hogsheads that previously held this well-aged style of Sherry, the subsequent single malt brims with dark chocolate notes
Michter`s Barrel Strength Rye (2025 Release) is a cask-strength rye whiskey produced at the Shively Distillery in Louisville. Bottled at 55.3% ABV, this annual edition from the esteemed Michter`s distillery reflects a commitment to quality, characterised by its sourcing of premium grains and a meticulous distillation process. The rye mash bill features a significant proportion of rye, along with corn and malted barley. Aromas include dark rye spice and subtle vanilla, while the palate reveals rich flavours of cinnamon, brown sugar and a hint of toasted bread.
This is a 12 year old unpeated expression of Arran Single Malt. It was initially matured for 6 years in first and second fill bourbon barrels and then transferred to first fill Spanish red wine casks and matured in our dunnage warehouse number .

Colour: Rich, ruby amber.
Nose: Bright with caramelised fruit and hazelnuts. Slight note of salted caramel and zesty grapefruit rind.
Palate: Full bodied and plenty of complex mouthfeel. Oak forward with dark red berries and creamy vanilla. A little ginger, sweet spice and aniseed.
Finish: Long, complex and mouthwatering. Vanilla and toasted oak lingers with a real sweet candy side. Delightful!
