Ledaig
Peaty whisky from Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, named after a previous incarnation of the distillery. Maritime and smoky, this rivals some of the Islay drams for power, and the 10 year old balances the intensity of youth with rounded, well-aged spirit.

Lochlea
Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 1 is the first in a series of annual limited-edition bottlings. Each batch will be bottled straight from the casks without water, like trying samples from the warehouse itself! Master Blender John Campbell and the team at Lochlea have chosen Bourbon and Sherry casks this time, and every year will show further progression of our whisky. Despite the very limited volume available in each country, the few who manage to secure a bottle will experience a true undiluted and unfiltered window into Lochlea whisky.

Compass Box
As part of its 20th anniversary, Compass Box has released this limited edition cask strength bottling of its Peat Monster as a nod to the USA-rooted origin story of the core expression. Peat Monster came about after Compass Box created a whisky for Park Avenue Liquor Shop in New York, which became a hit, and so Peat Monster was born. This expression of the blended malt Scotch sees some of the whisky that makes up the blend finished in virgin American oak barrels, for some extra vanilla and spice.

Lagg
Palo Cortado is a rare and highly prized style of Sherry from the Jerez region of Spain. This type of Sherry cask is sought after for maturing whisky as it imparts a complex balance of nutty dryness, caramelised sweetness and oxidative depth as well as adding a nuance Sherry influence to the spirit character. We have aged our Lagg Single Malt initially in Bourbon Barrels before transferring it into ex-Palo Cortado Sherry casks for 6 months. We then bottled at 56.2% Vol without chill filtration or added colour. Colour: Warm gold with amber reflections. Nose: Peach and white grapes. Hints of vanilla, almonds and a touch of smoke. Palate: Rich mouth feel, very oily with a lingering orange essential oil. Citrus, with baking spices like ginger and cinnamon. Finish: Medium length finish. Lots and lots of orange and ginger. Subtle smoke takes over with a dry ashy finish.

Filey Bay
As with all our whiskies, Filey Bay Peated Finish Batch #2 has been created to have depth, complexity and nuance for those with established palates, whilst not overwhelming those newer to whisky. How smoky is this release? Our Peated Finish is all about balance; soft and sweet with a gentle twist of smoke making this Filey Bay release perfect for any whisky fan whatever their preference. Whilst softer and fruitier than Batch #1, Batch #2 has a touch more smoke. A firm favourite of the distillery team, and a great stepping stone into a style of whisky that some can find a little extreme.

Presenting….. The Signature Series Edition 2 – Barrel Bonfire The Signature Series is our four-part limited-edition series. It is a selection of Arran Single Malts which showcases the diversity of our spirit and embodies the values which are important to us. It features four unique bottlings specially chosen by Lochranza Distillery Manager Stewart Bowman and given his seal of approval. With this bottling, we invite you to learn about the more heavily peated side of Arran matured in a Bourbon Barrel. The peated level of this bottling sits at 42ppm. The Quarter Casks used in this bottling were sourced from a small distillery in Chicago – Koval - who use these custom built 115 litre casks to mature their Bourbon before they arrive with us in Lochranza. The whisky in this bottling was originally filled into Bourbon Barrels in 2012. It was matured for nearly 5 and a half years, before being transferred into the Koval Quarter Casks in September 2018, where it spent the remaining 5 and a half years of its maturation time. We filled only a small number of these Quarter Casks and have not filled any more since. As such, they have a very rare place in our inventory. Over the course of the secondary maturation, the intensity of the heavily peated whisky has taken on an even more complex and full-bodied character. The smaller the size of cask, the greater the surface contact area between the wood and the spirit, effectively creating an environment for ‘express’ maturation. The resulting whisky has the benefit of more intense flavours which add depth and greater nuance to the final dram. Smokier notes mingle with the well-loved charred citrus and sweet vanilla spices of Arran Single Malt, evoking a bonfire made from barrel staves. Our Barrel Bonfire is bottled at 50% Vol, as always non-chill filtered and with no added colouring.

The award-winning whisky underwent an initial 16-year maturation in ex-bourbon casks, followed by an additional 2 years of finishing in premium sherry casks, imparting delightful sweet and fruity characteristics to the spirit. Staying true to the Tobermory Distillery tradition, this whisky is non-chillfiltered and retains its natural color. It's bottled at 46.3% ABV and occupies a place in the Ledaig (peated whisky) core range, alongside Ledaig 10-Year-Old and Ledaig Sinclair Series: Rioja Cask Finish. Ledaig 18 is an island whisky characterized by its smoky profile. It skillfully combines the enticing notes of sweetness and florals with the depth and warmth of sea salt and smoke, creating a harmonious and complex flavor profile. Tasting Note by Tobermory: Nose: Rich, fruity sherried smokiness, lovely balance of phenols, seaweed and light creosote, dried chilli flakes, spicy black pepper with hints of sweet oakiness. Palate: Powerful rich, sherried, herbal smoky flavours, orange peel, coffee, a touch of sea salt, tobacco and white pepper. Finish: Long and quite pungent with more smoke, a hint of liquorice and sea spray

The ideal after-dinner whisky. This Port Cask Finish expression from Arran is a delicious and complex single malt from the Lochranza-based distillery. Initially aged in oak casks for a period of eight years, before enjoying a second maturation in artisan port casks, this bottling sees the richness of the fortified wine marry perfectly with Arran’s signature citrus and cereal style.
