Critic Review
17/20 Tamlyn Currin, jancisrobinson.com "Bright, orange-gold in colour. Very edgy. If you like fermented foods, you'll like this. It smells like apricots and melted Alpine gruyère. You can almost smell the grass and cow shelter. It tastes like a cross between kefir, kombucha, dried apricots, cloudy apple cider, fresh raspberries and brown butter. Slightly goaty, but in a salty, buttery, gastronomic way (not a farmyardy way). It has tannins, like the wiry little muscles of a child gymnast. But then the finish is as smooth as a pebble. It's a wonderfully quizzical wine. Edgy, yes; funky, yes, a little; but it's a wine that is made to be drunk, not to be divisive or disruptive for the sake of it. Utterly authentic. An insider's wine. (TC)"
