Not only one of the top wine shops in the country, but a stylish wine bar too (voted by the Sunday Times as one of the 25 best wine bars in the UK) with awesome views over to Magdalene College and Quayside.

The wine shop has one of the largest ranges of wines, beers, spirits, whiskies, and Havana cigars in the world, plus super-friendly and expert staff. We also offer private and wholesale accounts.

There is easy pay and display parking nearby on Chesterton Road or Pound Hill (free in the evenings). There is no regular street parking on Bridge Street.

The Cambridge Bridge Street bus stop almost opposite the shop is served by both Newmarket Road and Madingley Road Park and Ride bus routes, and the Citi 5 and 6 routes too.

For wheelchair users, we have a disabled ramp and WC.  There is a disabled parking bay directly in front of the shop.

Corkage fees: £10 corkage for any wine off the shelf. No corkage on wines above £50, except for fizz. Corkage is £5 for half-bottles.

Set in a handsome Georgian building, King’s Parade is our flagship branch and is considered by many as one of the best specialist drinks shop in the country. We took it over from Oddbins in 2003 and have never looked back.  Beyond the superb wine range common to all our branches, King’s Parade boasts:

• – Fine Wines unearthed from College and private cellars, including Ports from the 1960s and 1970s.
• – Over 350 Malt Whiskies – a range impressive enough to qualify us as one of the top Whisky shops in the UK.
• – Specialist spirits such as rum, gin, artisan vodka etc. Hundreds of miniatures too.
• – Obscure and wonderful liqueurs and cocktail ingredients.
• – One of the best Dessert and Fortified wine sections (over 100!) in the land – we were named International Wine Challenge Specialist Fortified Wine Merchant of The Year in 2010, 2011and 2012.
• – Local ales, cider and even mead.

You are always in good hands for advice with food and wine matching and we also run a private client fine wine service – personal expert advice and advance notice of hot parcels that rarely hit the shelves.

This site has been a wine shop for over fifty years; we took it over in 2010. Choose from hundreds of wines, beers, spirits and more! Our Cherry Hinton Road shop boasts a winebar with seating for up to 25.  The winebar is currently BYOF (Bring Your Own Food), except on days when there is a food truck outside.

The winebar may be booked for private events, such as wine tastings and birthday parties. Please check with the shop for availability and conditions.

We’re not far from the Hospital and the Railway Station, only 10 mins cycle from city centre, and there’s a Citi Route 3 bus stop right outside (Mowbray Rd junction) which connects directly to the city centre and the station – just a few minutes ride. There’s easy unrestricted parking nearby and a customer loading bay in front.

We also offer private accounts, wholesale accounts, free local delivery, glass loan, generous case discounts and of course expert and honest advice.
