Saffron Grange
We are very excited to be able to bring you the 2019 Brut Classic Cuvée. This multi award-winning wine has won a 2023 Decanter World Wine Award, an International Wine Challenge and a Wine GB Award and most recently has been named as one of the top 100 UK wines in 2023. 2019 was another outstanding growing year for us in East Anglia and prior to the record-breaking summer of 2022, the hottest temperature ever recorded (a whopping 38.7 degrees) was measured just down the road at the Cambridge Botanical Gardens in July 2019. This wine is made from 50% Pinot Noir, 15% Pinot Meunier and 35% Chardonnay grapes and has been aged for 38 months on its yeast lees. The nose is packed with red apple, red berries and creamy brioche balanced with a palate of vibrant grapefruit, soft stone fruit and a hint of honey. With our renowned flint minerality coming through, this wine has an elegant, yet long finish. We think that this is a delicious and complex sparkling wine a perfect one to enjoy with a classic like Fish and Chips, a Sunday Roast or even on its own as a delicious aperitif.

Rathfinny Estate
Rich in colour, structured, and versatile. Greath depth of character. Rathfinny 2018 Rosé is the fourth vintage of our expressive Sussex Sparkling, with a red-fruit style that beautifully showcases the increased presence of Pinot Noir within the blend. “Rathfinny English sparklers rank among the best; their new release 2018 rosé is subtle and complex – look out for red apple, raspberry, red cherry, crème anglaise, orange peel and white pepper.” Susy Atkins, Stella Magazine, The Sunday Telegraph

Westwell
Pelegrim means Pilgrim in middle English (circa 12th century) and recognises the history of our forbearers that walked the Pilgrim’s Way above our vineyard for centuries on their final leg to Canterbury. This wine replicates this tradition in how the grapes are grown, selected and fermented. The Pelegrim NV is a traditional bottle-fermented sparkling wine that is made from Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay with reserve wines from previous vintages to give further complexity and a consistent extra dry non-vintage style. The wines are lees-aged in bottle for 36 months to give depth and biscuity aromas which only bottle-fermentation can deliver.

Saffron Grange
This signature vintage wine is our classic blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier aged for a minimum of 24 months on its’ yeast lees. This wine presents aromas of red fruits, buttery brioche and almonds on the nose perfectly balanced with juicy nectarine, baked apples, and our signature flint minerality on the finish. This food friendly wine would be a perfect partner to smoked fish, roast chicken or creamy risotto dishes. The Classic Cuvée is our signature style and the one which has accrued the most number of awards for us over the years and what we consider to consistently showcase the Saffron Grange style; fruit-forward, clean with a hint of brioche, great minerality and lovely acidity; a sparkling wine with finesse! 2021 Vintage The peak in temperature at the end of the summer in 2021 benefited the vintage after a cooler start to the season and the vines went onto enjoy a dry and sunny October. Due to our dry climate, we were able to allow our grapes to hang for longer and benefit from the later sunshine and it was by far the latest harvest we have had with us picking as late as Guy Fawkes Night. Wine Statistics • Grapes: 50% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Meunier • Bottled: May 2022 • Lees Ageing: Minimum of 24 months • Titratable Acidity: 12.0 g/l • pH: 2.5 • Total Sugars: 7g/l (Brut) • Alcohol: 11.5% • Harvest Period: Late October – early November 2021

Nyetimber
The English sparkling wine that put English sparkling wine on the map. The first English fizz to exclusively use the traditional three champagne grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Parker 91 "wafting from the glass with a pretty bouquet of citrus zest, elderflowers, green apple and very subtle autolytic top notes... pillowy, beautifully balanced, pinpoint mousse, ripe but racy acids and a nicely defined finish.” Jancis Robinson MW. 17.5 "Very frisky mousse! Sophisticated and, I have to admit, champagne-like nose. Lifted and long and very sophisticated. There are just SO many champagnes that are less impressive than this... intellectually stimulating. Wonderfully vibrant..." Lovely pale gold and gentle, fine bubbles. Toasty, spicy and complex aromas showing wonderful development after more than three years on lees in our cellar. The palate supports these complex aromas with honey, almond, pastry and baked apple flavours. Very fine and elegant with a great combination of intensity, delicacy and length.

Langham Wine Estate
Seriously impressive English fizz. A combination of battonage and light barrel ageing make for a rich, textural style with a gastronomic savoury edge. Top quality and a producer to watch... From UK agents Liberty Wines: Langham Wine Estate is one of the most exciting names in English wine, with Jancis Robinson describing their distinctive style as ‘à la Selosse’ and the IWSC naming them ‘Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year’ in 2020. Head winemaker Tommy Grimshaw is fast making a name for himself as one of England’s best young talents, crafting low-intervention, traditional method sparkling wines from a single site in rural Dorset. Langham began as a small vineyard planted by John Langham at his Dorset family home. It remained a hobby until 2009 when his son Justin started making wine in earnest. After studying viticulture at Plumpton, Justin planted the first block of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier at nearby Crawthorne farm, where they are based today. Now joined by a small but dynamic team, Langham remains independent and family-run. Winemaker Tommy employs a low-intervention approach in the cellar. The grapes were harvested by hand and carefully sorted in the vineyard and winery. The grapes were pressed in a pneumatic press and the juice was left to settle overnight, before being racked into a combination of stainless steel and old ex-Burgundy, ex-Bordeaux and ex-Champagne barriques. Primary fermentation occurred with indigenous yeasts, followed by full malolactic fermentation and roughly seven months ageing with regular bâtonnage for rich texture and additional complexity. The base wines (77% from the 2020 harvest) were blended without fining or filtration, alongside reserve wine from their 4000 litre concrete tanks. Secondary fermentation occurred in bottle, followed by a minimum of 14 months ageing on lees in bottle. It received a low dosage of 2 g/l litre.

Nyetimber
AN ELEGANT WINE OF COMPLEXITY AND DELICACY Light gold hue and a fine, delicate mousse. Aromas of lemon sherbet and honeysuckle lead into fresh pastry and vanilla characters. The palate is rounded and soft, offering generous yet elegant notes of green apple, lemon zest, orange blossom, and chamomile, with a touch of baked hazelnut. A subtle minerality accentuates the fresh, crisp acidity, leading to a long and complex finish.

Flint Vineyards
This is possibly Flint Vineyard’s pinkest and fruitiest Charmat Rosé to date, and, for the first time, the blend includes a portion of Pinot Noir and Bacchus. The 2023 is bursting with confected strawberries and cream. But it’s not just all fruit: there is a slight praline nuttiness in the background, which gives the wine some complexity. On the palate it is crisp and bursting with red fruits. Very drinkable as an aperitif and perfect for celebrations. A really lovely British drop playing the Italians at their own game. Well done Flint
