A 12yo Highlander from Glengoyne, famed for their unpeated single malt. Glengoyne is always very pure in style, allowing their high-quality, easy-drinking whisky to shine in its natural state.
The baby Tomatin in the family, light and approachable. Unusually for an entry level malt they use a suprising amount of virgin oak in the maturation process.
Nikka from the Barrel is big-boned and bursting with character. Not averse to a drop of water, either. A real star, winning top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards in 2007 and 2010.
Aromas: Sweet Sherry aromas with underlying
citrus, ginger and oak notes, accompanied
by a touch of smoke.
Palate: Sweet initially with cracked black pepper,
Seville orange and raspberry flavours lead
to baked apple and subtle spice.

Full bodied and robust. The sherry and the oak fight for your attention yet neither are overpowering.
An intense finish, long lasting dry and malty. A beautiful dark chocolate taste at the back of your mouth to complete the 25 years old.
Nose – Peach, pear and tangerine. A rich fruit cocktail.
Palate – Rich, round and plummy. Lovely juicy blackurrant notes. Lime and chocolate. A little meaty and a touch of oak char. Overall: A cracking whisky. The Malaga wine cask adds some excellent dark fruit character, but the slightly meaty, charred whisky notes make for a balanced dram. One of the favourites at a recent staff tasting.

Stewed fruits, Seville orange and chewy toffee with some warm gingerbread spiciness emerge first, with hints of peaches and cream and caramelised apple underneath. A little earthy clove and black peppercorn add depth among burnt sugar and some tropical fruit.
Light initially, with fruit notes, nutty flavours and a sweetness from slight hints of vanilla and caramel. Becomes more full-bodied in its finish, as rich dried fruit attempts to dominate the palate. Made on Islay.
Released in 2014, this no-age statement Taketsuru bottling is a blend of malts aged 10 years on average in different types of oak casks. A high percentage of Miyagikyo malt gives a fresh fruity character, joined by mature aromas from an important sherry cask influence.
The Nikka Coffey Malt is the result of a unique distillation process in “Coffey” type column stills, which are normally used for grain whisky production. This rare 100% malt bottling offers a surprisingly rich texture.

The youngest age-statement release in the Port Askaig range of single malts from undisclosed Islay distilleries, this eight-year-old whisky is warming and smoky with notes of limestone, liquorice and dark peat.

The Benromach 15 Year Old is matured in a selection of bourbon and Sherry casks, resulting in an intense but balanced flavour profile. There's big spices (think ginger, mint and a little sprinkle of cinnamon), there's juicy fruit (plum and clementine), there's a touch of smoky charred oak - all well placed and in harmony with each other.

After a series of small batch releases, the team at Ardnamurchan are now satisfied they can make a 'core' release at a consistent level to now do away with the codes that were featured on previous releases.
So moving forward we will have AD/ as an ongoing release, with a brilliant balance of soft, slightly sweet smoke, bracing sea air and rich, full fruity notes. For such complexity to be present in what is still relatively young spirit is a stunning achievement, and the team should feel so proud of what that are producing.
The Ardnamurchan Distillery is the most Westerly distillery on the mainland of Scotland, sitting on a remote fifty square mile penisula with a single track road being the only access.
As part of its 20th anniversary, Compass Box has released this limited edition cask strength bottling of its Peat Monster as a nod to the USA-rooted origin story of the core expression. Peat Monster came about after Compass Box created a whisky for Park Avenue Liquor Shop in New York, which became a hit, and so Peat Monster was born. This expression of the blended malt Scotch sees some of the whisky that makes up the blend finished in virgin American oak barrels, for some extra vanilla and spice.
Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 1 is the first in a series of annual limited-edition bottlings. Each batch will be bottled straight from the casks without water, like trying samples from the warehouse itself! Master Blender John Campbell and the team at Lochlea have chosen Bourbon and Sherry casks this time, and every year will show further progression of our whisky. Despite the very limited volume available in each country, the few who manage to secure a bottle will experience a true undiluted and unfiltered window into Lochlea whisky.

Our Master Distiller, Billy Walker, has worked tirelessly on perfecting this expression since day one; evaluating casks and refining recipes to create something special. We’re proud to present the jewel in our crown; the GlenAllachie 15 years old.
The GlenAllachie 15 Year Old is bottled at 46%, non chill filtered and natural colour.
Matured fully in Oloroso Sherry casks for a minimum of 15 years, Cù Bòcan 15 Year Old is a decadent single malt with sun dried fruits and smoky exotic spices. The Oloroso Sherry casks impart flavours of dried fruits, flamed orange peel, cinder toffee, black cherry and cardamom. The peat provides a traditional earthy dryness rather than an obvious smoke, this has helped keep some of the sweeter elements of the sherry casks perfectly balanced.

This special edition of The Cheshire has been inspired by longer days and the invigorating salty air of the seaside. It’s a lighter expression, matured in gently charred casks and finished in Islay barrels brought fresh from the island, bringing their coastal character and peaty edge.
This is one of only 891 bottles of this unique release.
Cask types: Maturation - single-use, ex-bourbon, American oak quarter-casks, shaved, toasted and re-charred; Finishing - single-use ex-Islay casks.
Nose: Subtle smoke and sweet cherries. Meadow hay and a gust of bracing sea air.
Palate: Smoky and lightly-peated foretaste balanced by caramel and citrus. Touch of chilli heat.

Cnoc Na Moine, translating to ‘hill of peat’ from Gaelic, embodies the essence of its namesake with a composition that mirrors the dramatic and untamed beauty of Skye. Matured in a distinctive combination of Bourbon American Oak, Oloroso, and Pedro Ximenez casks, this release marries the robust peatiness Torabhaig is renowned for with rich sherry notes, culminating in a darker, more profound hue.
