LHM
The Mol-B Vinho Branco Frisante shows gentle, floral and fruity aromas, whilst the palate is soft with a sparkle and bright grapey fruit with a touch of fresh mango and citrus to the fresh, delightful finish. Excellent as an aperitif and also pairs well with fish, shellfish, salads and grilled vegetables.

Vilacetinho
Some fizz (relatively modest), low (10%) alcohol and a bit of sugar (only 5 grams per litre– barely over the legal “dry” limit and rather low for this style). It is a blend of 40% Arinto, 20% Azal, 20% Avesso and 20% Loureiro. This is the winery’s entry-level wine and it offers amazing value. We've made the decision to offer the wine in both cork and screwcap. This is the screwcap version.

Textura Wines
jancisrobinson.com "Smoky nose with gorse aromas. Pure and exciting." Parker 90/100 "...produced with 50% Encruzado and 50% Bical. It has 12.5% alcohol and a pH of 3.35. It feels a little reductive, with aromas of white fruit and flowers, mellow acidity and a soft texture. This comes from younger vines, was fermented in stainless steel and matured with fine lees for seven months. The fermentation was very slow, so it went through malolactic fermentation, which lowered the acidity in the wine."

Quinta de la Rosa
jancisrobinson.com 16.5/20 "50% Viosinho, 20% Códega do Larinho, 20% Gouveio, 10% Rabigato. The wine was fermented in small stainless-steel vats, with some lots barrel-aged in used French oak for 5 months. Purest of citrus and white fruits with the merest hint of creamy softness from the oak to balance that crisp, mouth-watering and zesty citrus on the palate. A wake-up call of a wine. Zingy freshness balanced by that slight roundness in the mouth. Long, juicy finish. Well judged. (JH)"

Quinta de la Rosa
jancisrobinson.com 17/20 "Old vines, 60% Viosinho, 30% Rabigato, 10% Arinto. The wine was partially fermented in stainless steel with the remainder of the fermentation in French oak. It spent a further 8 months in oak... Smells richer and more complex than the straight La Rosa Branco, with a marked aroma of herbs and white flowers as well as all that pure citrus, and a suggestion of oak. The oak is a little more evident on the palate but beautifully integrated to build an elegant white wine that has a good core of fruit as well as layers and texture that you notice most on aftertaste. Already complex but should become more so with another year or two in the bottle though it is so well balanced you could drink this now. (JH)"

Herdade do Esporao
Forward apricot and orange blossom notes on a generous palate balanced by brisk acidity, with a marmalade finish and gentle spicing from french and US oak.

Ai Galera
Another winner from indigenous varieties; Portugal's great vinous inheritance. Demonstrates the skill and style of Portuguese winemaking these days, and the value of their offering. No oak, no over-extraction, not nonsense, just a beautiful limpid, light, lifted, bracing white so light it has not sign of gold in the colour, if anything a slight green hue. Not wishy-washy, it has plenty of character, but neutral in a good way, like Switzerland.

jancisrobinson.com 16.5+ "50% Encruzado, 50% Bical matured in a mix of cement, stainless steel and oak (10%) and bottled after a year on the lees. Very intense nose with extract of herbal aromas on the nose. Really smooth, floral and beautiful. Lots still to give."
