Rich blackberry aromas and a well-knit structure. Velvety, luscious black fruit and chocolate flavours. Intense lingering finish. Best served on its own or at the end of a meal with cheese. Bottled for immediate drinking so no need to decant.
A complex wine with fresh acidity, brown spices, nuts and citrus peel, and an extraordinarily long finish. Serve chilled as an aperitif, with seafood or smoked fish. Madeira should be cellared upright. It loves light, heat and air, but hates frost.
Brown/orange colour. There's a nice tarry richness to the caramel and raisin nose. Soft, rich nutty palate with good acidity. Very fresh, with some sweetness, a rich texture and good balance. Finishes with an appealing bitter twang.
"Delicious rum and raisin richness and toffee notes that are so inviting, it has really lovely balance and length with lift as well as intensity", The Wine Merchant Top 100
Reminiscent of a bigger, ripe cote-du-rhone...in a good sense.. pure, spicy, dusty, candied raspberry fruit, with some high-toned citrus or floral notes. medium body... some dusty tannins in finish... not very complicated, though enjoyable for it's bigger
Simply wonderful aged tawny port from the masters of the style, Graham's. Aromas of coffee, caramel and mulberry dominate the nose and there is a lovely ruby colour in the centre of the tawny, showing that it is young and fruity. Perfect small gift
