Frisian brewhouse Jever has been brewing this low-alcohol Pilsner since 1991. Jever Fun is now one of the leading low-alcohol beers in Germany.
Hops, malt and, above all, the particularly soft water of Friesland are what make Jever Fun so successful, along with the distinctive Jever taste. 0.5% ABV
Cloudy? Check. Apricot colour? Check. Clove, lemon and honey on the nose? Check. Grains, spice, banana, lemon and honey on the palate? Check and check. This is definitely a Weizen, and with the distinctive sweet malt of the brewery, definitely from Krombacher.
An amber coloured wheat beer, brewed according to traditional and well-honed procedures utilising select ingredients. This beer receives its easy quaffability and its delicate spicy taste from its fermentation, up to full maturity, in bottles and its careful storage within Augustiner's own ripening vaults.
Largely considered one of the best lagers in the world. That's certainly quite a claim but it is what you would expect from a brewery which opened in 1328. Augustiner Helles is incredibley refreshing, crisp and clean with a lightly hoppy finish.
