Antech
Sixth generation Francoise Antech has taken this excellent producer to even greater heights, championing the Limoux region and Mauzac grape variety around the globe. The UK is the family's largest market , now looked after by seventh generation Baptiste. This is the first priced wine in a range of their Blanquettes and Cremants that we recommend. Blanquette de Limoux has a claim to being one of the world's oldest sparkling wines, with legend dating its creation to 1531.

Just very slightly off dry. A style much loved in France as aperitif but sadly under-rated in Britain. Or try it with fishy starters.

Champagne Joseph Perrier
This champagne has a special place in the history of the House. It is from a family plot of Pinot Noir in Cumières that this precious red wine comes, giving our blend an unique personality. First you will find red fruits, with wild violet and liqourice notes to follow. Ripe yet racy, with beautiful length. Fine and full on the palate, with a touch of mint on the finish.

Proverbio
PRO for Prosecco, VER for Vero (Truly in Italian) BIO for Biologico (Organic). The palate is soft and fresh, offering zippy acidity and a complex array of primary fruit flavours, including peach, pear and apricot. This is enjoyable on its own as an aperitif but also pairs wonderfully with oriental cuisine. All vineyards are situated on gentle hillside slopes in the Treviso province, at an altitude of 250 metres above sea level. The grapes are carefully handpicked in mid-late September when they have reached full maturity, but still retain a high acidity level, giving the freshness and fruitiness typical of Prosecco.

Billecart-Salmon
This cuvée is a blend of two different years revealing the special quality of the Chardonnay. Its complexity, its great vinosity and the surprisingly fresh finish is particularly appreciated by the most informed wine lovers. The cuvée has been elaborated from the four Grand Cru vineyards of the Côte des Blancs : Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Mesnil-sur-Oger. A perfect balance between delicacy and elegance with a finish that is strengthened by the minerality.

Billecart-Salmon
Created in 1988 as a tribute to one of the House’s founders, Elisabeth Salmon, this cuvée distinguishes itself through its refined purity of grandeur and unique character. This great, rare and sought-after wine subtly offers the signature of our top Pinot Noir and Chardonnay terroirs. Elisabeth Salmon 2012 highlights the full breadth of the savoir-faire required to blend the House’s rosé in an exceptional year. The aroma dispalys a refreshing, sensual expression of the senses, redolent of red and black berries. The exquisite feel of a rich and complex aromatic amplitude (bilberry, gooseberry, peony). Beautifully refined, mature olfactory notes, respectfully running the gamut of the inimitable scent of fragrant roses and crystallised violets. On the palate, a tactile impact of restrained yet bewitching power and, at the same time, finesse. The harmonious fulfilment of delicious flavours and pastries (panettone, cherry clafoutis). A delicate mouthfeel progressing towards a hint of chalkiness in a long finish redolent of cedarwood and blood orange jelly. A wine of remarkable refinement that signals its personality with an immense delicacy of texture and flavours. An aromatic charm of a rare mineral kind to accompany lovely poultry with crayfish or a few royal langoustines.

Seriously up there with the best of Champagne: yeasty and buttery, cracking value. Fruit grown on selected, cool climate vineyards across Tasmania. To maximize blending options and complexity in the final wine, batches are kept separate during winemaking• Secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle and is aged on yeast lees for as long as possible. The average age of the final blend is around two years Honeysuckle and citrus scents are immediately apparent Slight aromas of nougat, roasted nuts and a hint ofstrawberry from the Pinot Noir. Flint Vineyards
This is possibly Flint Vineyard’s pinkest and fruitiest Charmat Rosé to date, and, for the first time, the blend includes a portion of Pinot Noir and Bacchus. The 2023 is bursting with confected strawberries and cream. But it’s not just all fruit: there is a slight praline nuttiness in the background, which gives the wine some complexity. On the palate it is crisp and bursting with red fruits. Very drinkable as an aperitif and perfect for celebrations. A really lovely British drop playing the Italians at their own game. Well done Flint
