Adi Badenhorst
The Rosé 2020 is a silky-smooth wine crafted from Swartland Cinsault by the legendary Adi Badenhorst. A crisp combo of wild strawberry, plum sorbet, tangy redcurrants, mint leaf and sea spray will have you wanting to stock up for summer. We love cans. There’s no corkscrew needed, no pressure to finish a whole bottle, no chance of finding it corked, and being lighter and easier to recycle, it’s much better for the environment. They’re also perfect for a weekday treat, a picnic in the park, or adding a splash to dinner while leaving enough for a glass for yourself. "Canned wine has gone seriously next-level". Victoria Moore, The Telegraph

30 years of ageing gives Matusalem its dark colour and molasses quality, with intense dried fruit and nut flavours. This extensive period of aging gives the wine a dark colour and notes of dates and raisins. “Fantastically fresh with real intensity. Marmalade and herb richness balanced with tangy notes and citrus freshness. Complex and unctuous finishes to fresh.” IWC 2019 Gold, Cream Sherry Trophy Winner

100% Carignan from 80 year old vines. Complex floral aromas. On the palate the fruits, such as raspberry and morello cherry, are crunchy and fresh. There is also a very strong stony/mineral feeling. The finish is long and pure. A vibrant wine.

Domaine Odyssee
Natural, organic Grenache Noir from a beautiful vineyard in Baixas, Roussillon. Grown with great care and wildly fermented and aged in tank. Floral, pretty and minerally fresh red fruits with soft texture and generous fruit. Really delightful Grenache. Vincent Carreras has been working in wine industry for 13 years. For nine years he worked for a winery in the south of the Roussillon, Andy Cook’s Mas Cristine and Coume del Mas. Working in the vineyard, cellar and commercial activities - the whole shebang! For four years now he has been employed by a family winery based in Maury - Clos des Vins d'Amour. Who work 25 hectares organically in the west of Roussillon. Mostly in commercial activities, but also working in the cellar. Alongside this, in 2016, Vincent started a new project - Domaine Odyssée. The 3.5ha of vineyards are in Calce and Baixas, in a heart of Roussillon. The sites are small, but unquestionably some of the most beautiful we have seen. Vincent draws on the experiences mentioned above and his time in New Zealand (2011), Argentina (2012) and Bordeaux 2011 to help fully realise what he has there in his exceptional terroir. Vincent works organically, using no weedkillers, no chemical products. He works by hand and with organic fertilizer (he is in conversion right now). He harvests his parcels by himself with friends and family. In the cellar, Vincent’s philosophy is a minimum of intervention "To keep the fruit and the terroir.". The wines are extracted gently with just a little pump over. No filtration, no fining. The only preservative is a little dose of sulphites in very low quantities at bottling "It is important for me the stabilise the wine in respect of the future customers".

Domaine Odyssee
Mas Almes x Domaine Odyssée is Vincent's Carreras' TRULY exciting collab release of 2025. I mean, the collabs are always exciting and excellent quality, but this REALLY surpassed all expectations. We thought the wine Vincent selected would be exciting, but nothing quite set us up for tasting this wine in early May 2025. At CWM we ship some of the very best value aged Roussillon sweet wines. We're very happy to say, here is another outstanding and outstanding value example. Bravo Vincent. Les Larmes du Soleil Rivesaltes Ambré - Hors d'Age - 15 years old, from Malvoisie and Muscat d'Alexandrie From Vincent Carreras: "For three years, between 2018 and 2021, before moving to the (current) Torreilles winery, I was able to set up my suitcases, or rather my vats, with Louis Rigaill, at Mas Almes, who kindly welcomed me. Being in the midst of a transition, I was able to continue structuring my project. At the back of his cellar, there were about forty barrels containing real treasures.... old sweet wines had been sleeping there for over 10 years. Louis allowed me to select the barrels of my choice and create a unique blend. So I thank him for his welcome, his advice, his generosity, and his patience with me over these three years, it's important for me to thank him in my own way, through collaboration. Cheers, Louis! Enjoy your retirement!"

Chateau de Fesles
Known as the Ch Yquem of the Loire, Ch de Fesles' Bonnezeaux is an astonishing wine made from Chenin Blanc. 100% botrytis affected grapes picked over 6 'tries' or passes through the vineyard. Unctuously sweet with 175g/lt residual sugar, yet fresh and tangy acidity makes it incredibly long and satisfying.

Domaine Odyssee
Natural, organic Syrah from a beautiful vineyard in Baixas, Roussillon. Grown with great care and wildly fermented and aged in old oak barrels for 12 months. Lifted, expressive Syrah with pretty floral notes and minerally fresh red and black fruits with some spicy, meaty notes and soft texture but with some matter and with a welcome, silky fruit character. Charming Syrah. The name 'Chimichurri' is a nod to Vincent's beloved Argentina (see below) because of the wines spicy, meaty character. Vincent Carreras has been working in wine industry for 13 years. For nine years he worked for a winery in the south of the Roussillon, Andy Cook’s Mas Cristine and Coume del Mas. Champagne Pierre Bertrand
A small family grower in the famous village of Cumieres in the Marne valley. Pinot-dominated (like most wines from this village), it shows a deep copper/gold colour and gorgeously aromatic. The palate is wonderfully peachy and lush whilst being bright and explosively juicy! The extended bottle-ageing of this wine (6-8 years) is rather longer most NV Champagnes and lends the wine its weight and character. But it's also fresh and lemony, making for a great combination. Judges on a Decanter tasting panel were particularly wowed by this Cuvée when tasting it blind with other Grower Champagnes in 2017, ALL giving it 98/100 points and the wine also went on to regarded as one of Decanter’s very favourite bottles of the year. We love it too and have been shipping it direct from the Bertrand family since 2008.

"The NV El Candado Pedro Ximenez, produced from sun-dried Pedro Ximenez grapes for two weeks, and aged in a solera for an average of 8-10 years, is bottled with 400 grams of sugar and 17% alcohol. Mahogany color, the nose is a symphony of candied, dried fruits, raisins, figs and dates. The palate is clean, very sweet and spicy, and should be consumed quite fresh (10 degreess C), with chocolate dessert (or as a dessert in itself)." Rating: 90 Luis Gutierrez, www.robertparker.com

Miraval
The world super-star of Provence pink. Delicate, complex and pale. Rare and sought-after. Summer in a glass. This stunning 17th-century estate was bought by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in 2009. After many millions spent restoring the vineyards and winery this world-class, super-pale, delicate but intensely flavoured pink became an instant classic - rated by Wine Spectator as the best rosé in the world, with early vintages sold out on release. Winemaking is by our old chum the famed Marc Perrin, whose family owns the stellar Chateauneuf-du-Pape estate Beaucastel, which has famously practised organic farming since the 1950s.

The 2020 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Kabinett offers a sensitive, sublime, complex, exquisite and slightly flinty nose with a coolish and delicate expression of stewed apricots and some greenish berries, whereas the first stony character remains. This irresistible and noble bouquet leads to a round and lush yet refined and savoury palate, with coolish apricot flavours on the long and sustainably salty finish that is firmly structured but elegant and highly stimulating. This is a superb, very elegant and complex, sustainably structured Sonnenuhr. This is a great pleasure to drink, but you can easily keep this Kabinett for over three decades. 8% stated alcohol. Chateau Haut-Mouleyre
A delicious sweet wine. Essences of pear and honey, with a long delicious finish. The perfect sauternes substitute. Dreamy with blue cheese. Château Haut-Mouleyre is located in the village of Escoussans, in the Entre-Deux-Mers winegrowing region, on the right bank of the Garonne. Near Cadillac, an ancient walled town populated since the XXth century by the monks who planted the vineyards, this beautiful traditional girondine house bears witness to the rich historic heritage of the region. A region famous for its La Sauve Majeure abbey, built in the XXIth century. The vineyard is crossed by the Mouleyre stream which is at the origin of the name of the Château : spread over the south and southwest-facing hillsides overlooking the Garonne riverbed, the vineyards have taken advantage of a privileged position which gives maximum exposure to sunlight, and a good soil drainage. Committed to the respect of the environment and its terroir, the property is certified HVE 3 (High Environmental Value level 3). The terroir and hillsides of Cadillac have always been known for their fruity, refined, delicate and lively sweet wines. The combination of these elements with the influence of the Garonne allow the Sémillon grapes to develop Botrytis Cinerea, the same "noble rot" as the more illustrious Sauternes region. Château Haut-Mouleyre Cadillac AOP is made from 100% Sémillon old vines.

Azienda Agricola Vicentini Agostino
Vicentini is a family business where Agostino works with his wife, Teressa, and their children Emanuele and Francesca. Based in San Zeno, a village at the mouth of the Val d‘Illarsi which resides inside both the Soave and Valpolicella DOCs, but is outside of their respective Classico zones. But don't let this last point cloud your vision to their outstanding wines produced in two distinct and great terroirs. The first terroir is on volcanic rock within the Valle dei Ciliegi, here the land is largely responsible for their "Valpolicella" and "Soave Casale". The second terroir is on limestone in the commune of Terrelunghe, where Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave are grown for the 'Terrelunghe' Soave. A beautiful style which is a long time Veronese tradition. Recioto di Soave is rarely produced, only ever in the best vintages - and this 2023 is simply gorgeous. Garganega grapes were picked and left to dry for 6 months, concentrating them. After softly crushing these bunches, the juice ferments at controlled temperatures in stainless steel for three weeks. The result a rich dessert wine of wonderful tension. Lush fruit, beautiful texture and fine, balancing acidity. Crystalised fruits with almond paste and a touch of lemon sing clear on the palate. Versatile indeed, but one feels that a beautiful, soft blue cheese and handfuls of the finest almonds you can find shall be the Recioto's best partner. Wonderful.

Fattorie Parri
A supreme value Vin Santo option. Late, manually harvested Trebbiano is left to dry in bunches from late September until the end of January. Then the grapes are vinified and put to caratelli (very small old oak barrels) to mature for eight years. A beautiful amber colour with a charming, ethereal nose with rasined white fruits and floral honey notes. Velvety and sweet in the mouth with medium rich fig and also notes of sweet almond paste on the lovely finish. Yet again, another REAL bargain here from Parri. Chianti Montespertoli is one of seven sub-denominations incorporated in the Chianti DOCG since 1984. Fattorie Parri is a family winery, started when Novello Parri bought the first estate, called Tenuta Corfecciano in 1950. In the following two decades, the family successively bought Tenuta Ribaldaccio, Tenuta Il Monte and finally in 1971 Il Urbana, where the winery is now located. Of the total of 180 hectares of estate, 60 are planted with vineyards, 35 with olive trees, grain is produced and the rest is planted with forest. All in all, a classic Italian company whose roots literally lie deep in the soil of the Tuscan landscape. The daily management of the 3 companies is in the hands of Luigi Parri, together with his nephew Andrea and niece Paola Cantini. Oenologist Giorgio Tarzariol has been responsible for making the wines since 1972.
