Session Pale Ale .Refreshing and exciting in equal measure, Yu Lu is brewed with Earl Grey tea and lemon zest for taste that belies its strength. Distinct peach and apricot notes are complemented by zesty bergamot flavours and a delicate loose leaf tea bitterness.
A mild brown bitter with a good balance of malt and hop character for a pleasing session drink. The finest pale ale malt (made from Maris Otter barley) is blended with torrified wheat, invert sugar and a small amount of roast barley to ensure consistent colour.
Hopfest (literally a festival of hops) is a gluten-free pale/blonde with purpose. Dedicated to bringing you the very freshest, fruitiest hop vibes. Headlined by citra with centennial and chinook supporting, Hopfest is a pure rave of citrus refreshment.
Oakham were the first brewery to commercially brew with Citra hops, this single variety hop ale is now a permanent fixture in their range. A light refreshing beer with pungent grapefruit, lychee and gooseberry aromas leading to a dry, bitter finish.
Lovely citrus fruits on the nose. It's a tough one, making an IPA that's high on flavour but low on alcohol. By god, this pulls it off. Lots of grapefruit, a decently bitter finish; it obviously doesn't have the malty sweetness you get from the higher abv. Fits the definition of session ale and would be great on a hot summer day.
Cloudy? Check. Apricot colour? Check. Clove, lemon and honey on the nose? Check. Grains, spice, banana, lemon and honey on the palate? Check and check. This is definitely a Weizen, and with the distinctive sweet malt of the brewery, definitely from Krombacher.
Beat the heat with our cold IPA, Glacier! Brewed cold using lager yeast and rice, making it super crushable and super crisp. Hopped with Talus and Nelson Sauvin giving notes of grape and citrus. It's a real icebreaker!
Hofbrau brews a rich, full-bodied beer which goes down ideally with traditional Bavarian cuisine. With its deliciously bitter taste and alcoholic content of 6.3% volume, Hofbrau Oktoberfestbier is as special as the Beer Festival itself.
An amber coloured wheat beer, brewed according to traditional and well-honed procedures utilising select ingredients. This beer receives its easy quaffability and its delicate spicy taste from its fermentation, up to full maturity, in bottles and its careful storage within Augustiner's own ripening vaults.
Glowing orange colour. A beautifully balanced beer where the malts really help amplify the hops juicy qualities. Layers of flavour: tropical fruit, citrus fruit, stinky cheese, caramel all working together. Bitter and sweet. Lush.
American Pale Ale
Named after the two heavyweight hops that battle it out in this brew (Summit and Mosaic), $UMO will wrestle your taste buds with a flavour combo of tropical fruit, dank herbs and weighty bitterness. Other beers may enter the ring but $UMO will be the last brew standing.
