The Glenallachie Distillers Company Ltd
COLOUR Burnished Mahogany. NOSE Butterscotch and honey playing the lead with raisins and mocha in the background. TASTE Honey, marzipan and bananas, with lashings of butterscotch, raisins and a delicate hint of mocha. In this era of mergers and consolidations we go against the grain; an independent, Scottish owned and managed whisky company. We chose to step away from the corporate treadmill and short-term targets. Instead, we focus on the important things; making great whisky and enjoying life. It is in this tradition that we would like to introduce the most important release in the history of The GlenAllachie Distillers Company; GlenAllachie 12 year old, the heart of our range, a landmark bottling. Our best casks selected and bottled under the careful eye of our Master Distiller Billy Walker. The GlenAllachie 12 Year Old is bottled at 46%, non chill filtered and natural colour.

Ardbeg
You would not think it to see it now, but Ardbeg had a difficult time of it for much of the 20th century. The distillery was bought in a joint venture between Hiram Walker and DCL in 1959, both intending to supply their blends. The subsequent years were very successful, but DCL backed out in 1979 (closing many of their other distilleries a few years later), and Hiram Walker then struggled in the 1980s era oversupply when interest is blended Scotch was waning. They closed it down for the majority of the decade. It re-opened briefly in the 1990s before being revived for good by Glenmorangie plc in 1997. This whisky was distilled on 20th February 2013 and aged in single second-fill ex-Manzanilla butt #247. It was bottled at cask strength on 9th September 2021. One of 670 bottles which were made exclusive to Ardbeg Embassies.

Ardbeg
Bottled in humidity, this rare small batch 19-year-old Ardbeg is arguably the most tropical dram to leave the Distillery. Notes of fresh GREEN PEPPERS, SMOKED MANGO and GUAVA mingle with MAPLE BACON on the nose. A deep smokiness gives waves of ANISEED, burnt HEATHER, and SPICED CHIVE. A satisfyingly long, sizzling finish brings with it notes of WARM TOFFEE FUDGE and SMOKED BUTTER. AGE : 19 Years Old MATURATION : Oloroso Sherry & Ex-Bourbon casks ABV : 46.2%

Edradour
This is Edradour at its best, bottled by the distillery's owners, Signatory Vintage, as part of their Unchillfiltered (UCF) collection. We'll spare you the philosophical discussion about whether this counts as an official or independent bottling and get straight to the point. Distilled at Edradour distillery in 2015, this spirit was matured in a single first-fill sherry cask which acts as the ultimate balancing foil to the decidedly old-school, rustic and funky spirit character. As the name suggests, this whisky was bottled without chill-filtration, nor additional colouring.

Tomatin Distillery
Matured fully in Oloroso Sherry casks for a minimum of 15 years, Cù Bòcan 15 Year Old is a decadent single malt with sun dried fruits and smoky exotic spices. The Oloroso Sherry casks impart flavours of dried fruits, flamed orange peel, cinder toffee, black cherry and cardamom. The peat provides a traditional earthy dryness rather than an obvious smoke, this has helped keep some of the sweeter elements of the sherry casks perfectly balanced.

Adelphi
A Blended Scotch Whisky from Adelphi, perhaps better known as an independent bottler. However, this blend of grain and malt whisky is from its private stock which is kept in a solera system. Though exactly where the whisky hails from is kept rather hush hush, we suspect it contains spirit from all over the shop, from Islay, Speyside and Campbeltown.
