A textbook Sauvignon Blanc from the Casablanca Valley – intense aromatics of herbs and freshly cut grass, alongside tropical green fruits and lively acidity. This wine is pale yellow in colour with intense fruity aromas of pineapple, melon, citrus and guava on the nose. The palate is juicy and fresh with a racy acidity and hints of orange blossom and green pepper on the long, lively finish.

This is the first ever Gutter&Stars Sauvignon Blanc, made from grapes grown at Creeksea Place Barns in Essex’s famed Crouch Valley. It’s ripe and tropical with notes of dried pineapple, red apple and Meyer lemon. Single-site Sauvignon Blanc was hand-harvested and gently whole-bunch pressed. The juice was settled in stainless steel before fermentation in old French oak barrels using non-Saccharomyces and Burgundian yeasts. The long and slow fermentation took 45 days, then the wine was racked off its gross less and aged in a neutral oak barrel (228 Litre, ex-Burgundy). It matured on the fine lees for five months with no battonage. The wine was bottled on 7th April 2025. Just 280 bottles were produced. No animal products or derivatives were used to make this wine.

Fine and very expressive, there are citrus and white flowers, on the nose, with vanilla from some nice oak. On the palate, there is complexity, ripe fruit and a pleasant freshness. It is a very aromatic wine with notes of citrus fruits. The whole wine is well balanced between body, freshness and oak. The Château Bonnet Réserve comes from a selection of a few hectares, among the 120 of the estate's vineyard, producing white wines in sustainable viticulture. The grape varieties selected are Sauvignon and Sémillon.

Sichel family property of 45 hectares in the Entre-Deux-Mers. The soil is clay and limestone in one single plot. 65% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Sémillon. Aged on fine lees with regular stirring. It shows a lovely pale yellow colour with greenish tinges. Fresh and expressive on the nose, with superb notes of pink grapefruit, mango and some slightly toasted hints. Its fine balance on the palate is remarkable, with a lot of roundness and body, as well as pure, elegant freshness. This is a ‘hands on’ Domaine that firmly believes good wine is made in the vineyard. Serge’s daughter, Valèrie, looks after their 15 hectares of vineyards and makes the wine with a view to preserving as much terroir in the wines as possible. Their vines are planted on a unique concoction of clay/limestone ‘Terres Blanches’ over kimmeridgean clay and crushed oyster shells. Moreover the vineyard slopes are all fully exposed to every second of sun each day has to offer being south and south-west facing. Such exceptional terroir as this resounds throughout the wines which practically sing with flavours of gunflint, flowers and cut grass.
