Vina Marty
Vina Marty is proud to present this Sauvignon Blanc, a unique wine in the world in its style, fermented using Japanese sake yeast n°7. Only members of the sake producer association are allowed to use these yeasts. We are then honoured to be the only non-Japanese member. These yeasts are a true treasure of Japanese culture and allow us to vinify at much lower temperatures than regular wine yeast, which has always been a dream for winemakers. This Sauvignon Blanc presents a very new and unique profile, mixing the wonderful terroir of Chile, techniques of French vilification, and the millenary tradition of Japan. Nose : Complex with a beautiful intensity of citrus fruits and white flowers, such as orange blossom. Notes of Green spices with bakery and vanilla flavours. Palate : A floral sauvignon blanc with criticus aromas. A hint of chilli pepper add originality to its character. It’s soft, dry, with medium acidity round and well balanced. Elegant thanks to a workon lees, we can enjoy a long and creamy finish.

Cedrick Bardin
A little known appelation next to the classic vineyard of Sancerre, this has a distinctive personality being rather richer and more textured. Cédrick Bardin’s domaine is a patchwork of properties in Sancerre, Pouilly, and a few acres in the lesser-known Coteaux du Giennois. This appellation lies to the north of its more famous neighbors and provides a different but excellent expression of Sauvignon Blanc. Dominated by dark, clay-comprised soils, this plot yields grapes with a subtler yet more exotic character, intense herbaceousness & clean minerality with refreshing citrus overtones.

Errazuriz
Errazuriz is one of the most famous Chilean wineries, founded in 1870 and consistently one of the world's most admired wine brands. They make the icon wine Sena, which beat Ch Lafite and Ch Mouton Rothschild in the Berlin Tasting to be named the finest Cabernet Sauvignon in the world. The grapes for the Winemaker's Selection Sauvignon Blanc come from selected vineyards that grow close to the Pacific Ocean’s coast in the Aconcagua Region, on rolling hills at an altitude of 100 to 300 meters above sea level. Gentle Pacific breezes and morning fog make these vineyards ideal for producing refreshing Sauvignon Blanc. Grapes were picked by hand and taken to the winery, where they were carefully destemmed, crushed and pressed. The must was lightly clarified and fermented in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation the wine was kept on their lees for three months to intensify its distinctive fruit character and develop a nice texture. The nose displays citrus aromas of lime and tangerine. The palate features flavours of mandarin, tropical fruits and herbal notes. A wine with refreshing acidity, great depth and persistence.

Serge Dagueneau
This is a ‘hands on’ Domaine that firmly believes good wine is made in the vineyard. Serge’s daughter, Valèrie, looks after their 15 hectares of vineyards and makes the wine with a view to preserving as much terroir in the wines as possible. Their vines are planted on a unique concoction of clay/limestone ‘Terres Blanches’ over kimmeridgean clay and crushed oyster shells. Moreover the vineyard slopes are all fully exposed to every second of sun each day has to offer being south and south-west facing. Such exceptional terroir as this resounds throughout the wines which practically sing with flavours of gunflint, flowers and cut grass. Justerini & Brooks.

Savage
The 2022 Salt River combines fruit from a 32 year old bushvine vineyard in Stellenbosch and another coastal site in Walker Bay. Named for the trendy area of Cape Town that Savage Wines calls home, it drinks more like a Pouilly Fume than a Marlborough Sauvignon, with a real lushness to the palate, flavours of yellow plums, semi-dried pineapple, moringa flowers, a tiny hint of reduction and this amazing intense tanginess. Think sun-ripened yellow peppers blended up, with grapefruit pith and the faintest hint of blackcurrant. Terrific body and stunningly long in the mouth, it's tasting great now, and we're sure it will age with grace too.
