Viña AB is a young Amontillado which has experienced both ageing under flor and oxidative ageing. Due to the contact with oxygen it has taken on a light amber colour. On the nose subtle and delicate with typical Palomino aromas of hazelnuts, and slight reminders of yeast due to its time under the flor. On the palate Viña AB shows subtle notes of oak due to the 12 years spent in cask. Pleasant with a balanced acidity. Long aftertaste with slight saltiness and bitterness on the finish

On the palate it is more profound and serious, due to the partial aging in oak. A lot more substance than your usual rosé.

Steeped in history dating back to 1692, Lanzerac Wine Estate is a historic landmark and Stellenbosch icon. Positioned in the idyllic Jonkershoek Valley on the outskirts of the historical town of Stellenbosch, the Estate boasts views of dramatic mountain ranges, endless rows of lush vineyards and hectares of gardens shaded by giant Oak trees. This crisp and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc boasts generous aromas of green fruits including Granny Smith apples that interplay with white fruits such as Asian pears and white peaches in a perfect fruit-acid balance. A fresh lemongrass mouthfeel with subtle minerality is rounded off by a soft creaminess in the long finish due to extended lees contact.

Château Haut Boutisse, Saint Emilion Grand Cru, is a family property that has existed since the middle of the 19th century. Located on the foothills of Saint Emilion, the soil (Graves, clay-limestone and sandy loam) is similar to the greatest properties in Saint-Emilion.. A beautiful garnet colour. The complex nose presents a beautiful synergy between aromas of jammy strawberry and rose accompanied by fine smoky notes and dried figs. The mouth has a very nice balance between volume and freshness. The harvest is done manually. Vinification is a cold pre-fermentation maceration followed by alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats with pumping over/punching down. The wine is aged for 15 months in new barrels (90%) and concrete vats (10%).

There are many delightul Northern Rhone whites from 2023 and this is very much one of them. Performing very well in Crozes-Hermitage tastings in both Terres des Vins and La Revue du vin de France, well up amongst the big boys and girls of the appellation. 70% Marsanne, 30% Roussanne - half from loess soils on l'Homme at Larnage, half from loess soils on Les Pinets at Crozes-Hermitage. 90% steel vat, 10% new 600-litre oak cask fermented, raised 9 months, assembled just before bottling, malo completed. Les Vignobles Foncalieu is a cooperative of more than 600 growers from across the Languedoc - a result of many small village co-ops being joined together over the years - covering a considerable spread of the region’s appellations and IGPs. This bottling is from vineyard parcels on several types of terroirs, from clay-limestone soils close to the Etang de Thau lagoon to slightly more inland hillsides on sandy and gravelly soils. It’s fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to preserve freshness. One of only three wines to score an 'Outstanding' score of 95/100 in a Decanter Panel tasting of Picpoul de Pinet AOP in Spring 2026. This goes to show the quality of Foncalieu's wines, and why we have worked with them for many years. This great value bottle shows proper Picpoul character, gorgeous texture, a wonderful freshness and real energy. The 12 hectare vineyard of Chateau Faizeau is planted to 94% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc. The entire vineyard is one large block of vines. The terroir is a mix of sand, clay and limestone soils. On average, the vines are close to 50 years of age. However, the vineyard has some of the oldest vines in the Right Bank. The oldest vines survived the devastating frost of 1956. In fact, they have vines that are more than 100 years of age, as they were planted all the way back in 1911! More than just old vines, their hillside terroir is on perhaps the highest elevation in the appellation. The vineyard, located on the hill of Calon hits 89 meters at its peak.

For several generations, the Clavels have run this estate, founded in 1934 on the right bank of the Rhône, whose vast area (80 ha) allows them to offer a wide range of wines. Today, it is Claire who has been at the helm of this organic estate since 2008. Very consistent in quality and best known for its Côtes-du-Rhône and its Saint-Gervais villages. Juicy, fruity and versatile Southern Rhone red from Claire Clavel whose vineyards lie in Saint Gervais, one of the 'Villages' of the Cotes du Rhone.

Pascal Fournillon is a sweet-natured man, always happy when people find him in the sleepy hamlet of Bernouil, some 10 miles north-east of Chablis town. His mum also makes the best gougeres if you need further incentive. Pascal's vineyards cover some 23 hectares of land in the appellations of Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru and Epineuil. He is bottling more and more of his own wine rather than selling in bulk and this means we have access to good allocations of Chablis that Pascal is happy to age for us for a few years till it is perfect to drink. This Bourgogne Chardonnay is from vineyards near Chablis and bears all the hallmarks of it; steely, lemony, fine and elegant.

The palate is brimming with sweet fruits, balanced by vanilla oak, savoury leather & tobacco, mocha with fresh herbs in the finish. Château Paveil de Luze is one of the oldest estates in the Margaux appellation, with a history dating back to the 18th century. Located on deep gravel soils near the Gironde estuary, the estate has been owned by the de Luze family since 1862. The 2018 vintage was one of the first to be released following the reinstatement of the prestigious Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel classification. The wine is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot, matured for 12 months in French oak barrels.

A stylish, traditional-method Cava with fine, lively bubbles and aromas of green apple, citrus and ripe stone fruit, complemented by subtle brioche and toasted-nut notes from at least 15 months’ bottle ageing. Dry, smooth and beautifully balanced, with refreshing acidity and a clean, gently creamy finish. An excellent aperitif and a versatile match for tapas, seafood or celebration canapés. Since 1987, every summer Castillo Perelada hosts a fantastic music festival, one of the best in Europe. This cava is a tribute to all the artists who appear, shining like the stars of the Empordà sky under which they perform.

An appealing golden colour, with an amber rim. Elegant and complex, it shows aromas of spice, with prevailing notes of dried fruit and elegant hints of wood and honey. Smooth and round on the palate, it shows complexity amidst intense flavours of dried fruit. An excellent finish.

A lovely red Crozes produced with fruit from the Domaine's established 50-year-old plus vineyards in eastern Les Chassis at Mercurol and in the south of Les Chassis at Pont de L'Isere. Both sites are marked with the classic Chassis terroir of red clay limestone with large, rolled pebbles. This cuvee in 2023 has elegance and lift, with suave, deep but charming fruit that has a lovely lush quality mixed with classic, complex iron notes, a nice tension and a lovely freshness. The tannins are beautifully judged here. Drinking now is a lovely experience, but this shall show well for a good few years to come. A gorgeous Crozes-Hermitage. Vendome are an established Domaine but have only started producing their own wines in the last couple of years. The wines have been very warmly received in both the French and international wine press in the debut 2020 vintage and in the following far trickier 2021 vintage. We are very happy to have struck up a relationship with the Domaine at such an early stage. The whole range is impressive across the board. Their classic red Crozes a great place to get acquainted. "Fair red robe; the nose has a smoked, pumice stone air, a leafy intonation, with discreet raspberry on the inside, is a calm opening. The palate carries a note of iodine, salting, that freshens it, is nicely droit, gives perfumed red fruits with a little vegetal tang that isn’t discordant. This fits together agreeably, has some of the crispness of the northern sector, its clarity. Produced from beautiful organic Muscat grapes grown on a great schist terroir with a top-soil of schistous marl in the commune of Tautavel, facing south-east. The grapes are composed of 80% Muscat Petits Grains and 20% Muscat d'Alexandrie. Yields are very low at around 20 hl/ha. A manual harvest takes place in the morning, when the grapes have an alcoholic potential of 14.5°/15°. Very long direct pressing, at low pressure, followed by coarse settling overnight in the open air. Fermentation takes place in vat, at a temperature of 20-23°C. It is stopped by mutage with certified organic neutral alcohol (representing a maximum of 10% of the final volume). Aging takes place on fine lees, in closed stainless steel vats, sheltered from oxidation. This is the finest and freshest Muscat de Rivesaltes we've found. We are very happy to be shipping this great example from the finest of growers to the UK.

From the website of UK agents Thorman Hunt: Domaine Grosbois is a 9h Domaine run by two brothers, Nicolas and Sylvain. Their family vineyard is located at a place called “The Pressoir” Panzoult in the Chinon appellation in the heart of the Loire Valley. Nicolas arrived at the family estate in 2008, after spending 10 years as a “flying winemaker” and having spent time in New Zealand, Australia, Chile and Oregon. After his time abroad, Nicolas strongly believes in not vinifying and ageing in wood, choosing concrete instead to preserve the freshness and vitality. No old oak has been used since 2015. Sylvain similarly spent time abroad in Chile, Oregon working for Domaine Drouhin and Australia. The brothers are passionate about organic viticulture and show their wines at The Raw Wine Fair. The Cuisine de ma mère comes from their young vines from clay and sand and is designed for early drinking. The grapes are destemmed and undergo a 5-day skin maceration, fermented in concrete and then aged in concrete.

A textbook Sauvignon Blanc from the Casablanca Valley – intense aromatics of herbs and freshly cut grass, alongside tropical green fruits and lively acidity. This wine is pale yellow in colour with intense fruity aromas of pineapple, melon, citrus and guava on the nose. The palate is juicy and fresh with a racy acidity and hints of orange blossom and green pepper on the long, lively finish.

Château Haut-Mouleyre is located in the village of Escoussans, in the Entre-Deux-Mers winegrowing region, on the right bank of the Garonne. Near Cadillac, an ancient walled town populated since the XXth century by the monks who planted the vineyards, this beautiful traditional girondine house bears witness to the rich historic heritage of the region. A region famous for its La Sauve Majeure abbey, built in the XXIth century. The vineyard is crossed by the Mouleyre stream which is at the origin of the name of the Château : spread over the south and southwest-facing hillsides overlooking the Garonne riverbed, the vineyards have taken advantage of a privileged position which gives maximum exposure to sunlight, and a good soil drainage. Committed to the respect of the environment and its terroir, the property is certified HVE 3 (High Environmental Value level 3). The terroir and hillsides of Cadillac have always been known for their fruity, refined, delicate and lively sweet wines. The combination of these elements with the influence of the Garonne allow the Sémillon grapes to develop Botrytis Cinerea, the same "noble rot" as the more illustrious Sauternes region. Château Haut-Mouleyre Cadillac AOP is made from 100% Sémillon old vines.

Medium gold colour. Pronounced aroma intensity, yellow apple, ripe peach, apricot, mango, white flowers, orange and mineral notes. Dry, medium acidity, andl medium body. Orange, lemon, orange peel, apricot, peach marmalade, some mineral notes; long finish. Very good quality and value. Rolly-Gassmann is a domaine like no other and has a unique style. It is located at Rorschwihr, a sleepy village on the northern rim of Haut-Rhin. The vineyards are located in Rorschwihr and the neighbouring Rodern and Bergheim. The wines are small masterpieces with very good definition. They all carry the signature of Rolly-Gassmann, a certain shameless, velvety sweetness. The fruit is rich and manages to balance the fruit with a vibrant acidity to form wines that melt on the palate.

A bouquet of flavours opens up with fresh lemon, lime and green apples that excites your senses following through to a creamy palate with hints of baked bread and toastiness that broadens the palate ending with a well-balanced crisp acidity. To be enjoyed on any memorable occasion. The Chardonnay grapes are hand-harvested at 18.5 - 19.5 °Balling from early-January until end of January. After the grapes are whole bunch pressed, the juice is left to settle overnight. Only the best 450 500lt of juice from every ton of grapes, is used. The clear grape juice is then transferred to stainless-steel tanks for the first alcoholic fermentation. After aging for some time on the lees, the wine is prepared for secondary bottle fermentation and is left on secondary bottle fermented lees for 16 months before the sediment is removed using the traditional process of remuage and disgorgement.

Royal Tokaji is one of Hungary's most respected producers, best known for its legendary sweet Tokaji Aszú wines, but its dry Furmint has become one of the benchmark introductions to the style. The 2022 vintage benefited from a warm, dry growing season, producing wines with excellent concentration balanced by Furmint's naturally vibrant acidity. If you enjoy unoaked Chablis, dry Riesling or Albariño, this wine offers a similar freshness but with more texture and a distinctive volcanic minerality that is characteristic of Tokaj.

Elegant with aromas of apple, lemongrass and freshly baked bread together with hints of apricot on the palate and fine persistent bubbles.

Barbera is the most widespread grape variety in Piedmont, and one of the most versatile. Over time Barbera has become one of the most representative and interesting wines in Piedmont. Ricossa also make an exceptional Nizza Barbera and Appassimento Barbera which we also stock. Asti is the next region along from Alba. This cheeky red is all Barbera should be: vital, cherry-red, bright, lifted, cool and crunchy. Shouts Piedmont loud and clear. Lovely chilled, with salads, with tomato sauces, and tomatoes, herbs, pepper steak. Truly epic value from this super grower.

Chateau Fombrauge is the biggest estate in the St-Émilion appellation, although other estates are increasingly giving it a run for its money. Bernard Magrez has stripped back his winemaking style in many of his châteaux, but still seems to let rip a little here. This is rich in black fruits, fully charged, punching both fruit and oak at the same time. A highly enjoyable bottle that needs time, but when its ready pair it with a rich dish.

Old vine Grenache grown on decomposed black schist with a limestone sub soil with some quartz, that produces something amazing. Ethereal, sublime and fresh, this achieves a level of finesse akin to fine red Burgundy. Remarkable, special, very good indeed.
