The vines are on Kimmeridgian soils, rich in minerals and oyster fossils. Crunchy green apple on the palate. Plenty of acidity to keep the palate fresh with a stony character on the finish. Appealing and ready now, perhaps best to drink this over the next two to three years. Geoffroy recommends pairing the wine with cooked oysters, fine poultry, veal escalope or cheese.

New wine laws from the 2020 vintage prohibit the use of the Appassimento (partial drying) technique for white grapes from Veneto, so sourcing of the Garganega for this lovely wine has moved to Puglia. The blend of Garganega & Sauvignon remains the same, with Sauvignon Blanc still coming from Veneto. Partial maceration with dried grapes and cold fermentation enhances fruitiness and elegant aromatic notes. The change has resulted in even better wine, that's perfect as an aperitif, with delicate first courses or white meats and fish. Vegan.

Produced from beautiful organic Muscat grapes grown on a great schist terroir with a top-soil of schistous marl in the commune of Tautavel, facing south-east. The grapes are composed of 80% Muscat Petits Grains and 20% Muscat d'Alexandrie. Yields are very low at around 20 hl/ha. A manual harvest takes place in the morning, when the grapes have an alcoholic potential of 14.5°/15°. Very long direct pressing, at low pressure, followed by coarse settling overnight in the open air. Fermentation takes place in vat, at a temperature of 20-23°C. It is stopped by mutage with certified organic neutral alcohol (representing a maximum of 10% of the final volume). Aging takes place on fine lees, in closed stainless steel vats, sheltered from oxidation. This is the finest and freshest Muscat de Rivesaltes we've found. We are very happy to be shipping this great example from the finest of growers to the UK.

Mouth watering Sauvignon Blanc, with ripe tropical fruit flavours and a twist of crisp citrus.

While intense in colour, it remains deliciously fresh and floral. The nose is lifted, expressive, and filled with wild strawberry, cherry, and crushed raspberry. On the palate, the Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay give fleshy white peach and watermelon, balanced by a bright, crunchy acidity. It is light-bodied yet remarkably textured, finishing with a savoury salinity.

Fermented in steel and aged for 2 months in French oak It has lovely floral and citrus fruit notes on the nose, more on the palate and thirst quenching acidity. Really pleasing to drink on its own or with creamy dishes.
