‘Domingo Molina’ is 8 km West of Cafayate, in Yacochuya, at 2,000 m above sea level. It lies on the Andean mountainside, where the Calchaquí Valley can be seen. Dark scarlet colour with some purple notes. Characteristic spicy aromas. Ripe tannins and full body with lots of character. Elegant with a long finish. Excellent structure. Very complex palate with ripe tannins and a velvety texture.

Marcelo creates award winning wines in Valle de Uco, Argentina and in Pomerol, France. His two great passions in life are his love for making music and for making fine wines. This wine is sourced from the Vineyard in Tunuyán, Valle de Uco where the soils are loamy-silty of alluvial origin with gravel in the subsoil. A rich Chardonnay with pleasant light yellow color, good structure and great acidity. The nose is an enticing, full fragrance, lemon dance of sea salt and delicate fresh notes. This wine is all about texture and preserving the subtle and delicate characteristics of the varietal. It's bouquet is full from a creamy mix of pears, peaches and very refined toast that finishes with a film of citrus covered cashews. A very pleasant gentle entry In the mouth. A bouquet of flavours opens up with fresh lemon, lime and green apples that excites your senses following through to a creamy palate with hints of baked bread and toastiness that broadens the palate ending with a well-balanced crisp acidity. To be enjoyed on any memorable occasion. The Chardonnay grapes are hand-harvested at 18.5 - 19.5 °Balling from early-January until end of January. After the grapes are whole bunch pressed, the juice is left to settle overnight. Only the best 450 500lt of juice from every ton of grapes, is used. The clear grape juice is then transferred to stainless-steel tanks for the first alcoholic fermentation. After aging for some time on the lees, the wine is prepared for secondary bottle fermentation and is left on secondary bottle fermented lees for 16 months before the sediment is removed using the traditional process of remuage and disgorgement.

Daniel and Christine Chaussy are a brilliant brother and sister team making awesome Chateauneuf du Pape in the north of the appellation. Just across the fence they have a further 2 ha vineyard which provides the fruit for this 'Chateauneuf in all but name' CdR Villages. It's great, muscular, demanding a meaty casserole or Melanzane Parmigiana. Amazing value.

Chateau Fombrauge is the biggest estate in the St-Émilion appellation, although other estates are increasingly giving it a run for its money. Bernard Magrez has stripped back his winemaking style in many of his châteaux, but still seems to let rip a little here. This is rich in black fruits, fully charged, punching both fruit and oak at the same time. A highly enjoyable bottle that needs time, but when its ready pair it with a rich dish.

Sheltered from oceanic influence by the Vosges Mountains, the Alsace wine region enjoys practically the lowest rainfall in France (only 400-500mm per year) and is blessed with a semi-continental climate, sunny, hotand dry. These optimal weather conditions, along with a nice and cool fall season, allow the grapes to ripen slowly and to develop an amazing complexity of aromas. Overt Riesling character at once, with baked tertiary fruit. Evolving. A touch musky. Great balance at 90g/l RS. Not cloying, rather Tarte au Citron. Hugely persistent.

The nose is full of summer fruit aromas, strawberry, blueberry, and the palate is light and crisp and refreshing with notes of raspberry and cranberry. Serve well chilled at a summer barbeque.

Racy passion fruit, tangerine and gooseberry flavours are graceful and elegant, with a lovely, alive mouth feel and a medium body. A zingy acidity adds to the elegance, and the flavours echo on the finish.

100% Grenache, from 40-80 years old vines. The wine fermented in barrels for 6 months and the result is a deep-flavoured but elegant and fresh rosé with a bright pink in the robe and inviting aromas of pure raspberries, cassis, and some rose petals. On the palate it is more profound and serious, due to the partial aging in oak. A lot more substance than your usual rosé.

A beautiful Barbaresco from this most exciting of Domaine's in Nieve, now headed up by brother and sister duo Beatrice and Marco Rivetti. We are very happy to be now adding them to our Piedmont portfolio. The 'Classico' label at Cascina Vano makes a very welcome return in the incredible 2021 vintage after being rested since the 1990 version. I mean, this is immense for the price considering Piemonte prices these days - where most new growers Langhe Nebbiolo are hitting the shelves around the £40 mark. Here we have three established (all vines 30yrs plus) estate vineyards, a south-east facing site in Canova MGA and a small south-east facing parcel near the top of the crest of Rivetti MGA and a slightly larger south-west facing parcel the other side of the hill finishing just above Borgata Rivetti. So, an interesting blend of very good vineyards in an as mentioned incredible vintage that is poised, direct, elegant and shining bright at well under forty quid - aren't we lucky? The vineyard sites average an elevation of 380m. In 2021 the grapes were harvested by hand in very late September into the first week of October. After destemming and a soft crushing, a natural fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The wine is macerated on skins for 15 days. It is then run to 20 and 30hl Slavonian oak barrels for 24 months, with one decanting and racking per year. The wine is then put to bottle for at least six months. We've shipped these bottles a further two years down the line and the wine is in beautiful shape. A beautiful garnet colour with hints of burgundy and ruby. The nose is delicate and floral with lovely rose notes along with some mint and balsamic. The palate is classic and elegant with gorgeous pure fruit, beautiful acid, divine tannins and some spice and herbal notes on the charming long finish. Simply a great example to convince those of the beauty and value of Barbaresco wines.

Really tasty. Full colour, but light on it's feet. Lots of staisfaction here. This wine is soft pressed after five hours of skin contact to produce a light pink wine. Fermentation occurs under controlled temperatures in stainless-steel tanks. Five days resting on the lees are followed by two days of cold settling. The vines that produce this wine are grafted from Argentine Malbec, which of course comes originally from Cahors in France. The wine maker is Argentine, and he searched all over the Languedoc for a place that would produce the characteristically bright and intense Malbec of his home country. He found this possibility in partnership with winegrowers from the Coteaux d’Ensérune, who follow a 1,000-year-old viticultural tradition marked by an historically un-French willingness to develop varieties from other horizons. The unique soils on the Montandy plateau outside Béziers are red, chalky and acidic with traces of iron. This combined with the classic Mediterranean climate, make the area an ideal home for Malbec The nose is intense with concentrated red berry aromas mixed with hints of springtime flowers. The expressive palate is bursting with gorgeous, ripe fruit followed by a bright, tangy finish. Pair with Mediterranean cuisine like fish with Provençal sauce and seafood paella or try with grilled chicken and fish. Also delightful as an aperitif.

Bright ruby, sweet ripe fruit, vanilla, beautiful sweet fruit, good density and nice acidity, long and very moreish. Made by the Falgueyret family in the Jugazan area of the Entre-deux-Mers region. For 150 years the Falgueyret family have been tending vines. Since 2001, Jerôme Falgueyret armed with a degree in oenology has been vinifying the family wines which were previously sold to the local co-operative. The quality has improved dramatically under Jerome's guidance and the chateau now has a string of medals to its credit. This serious, rich claret blended from 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon is starting to drink beautifully.

On our hunt for decent alcohol-free wines this came out as a winner. A light yellow with green tint in colour, aromas of ripe tropical fruit, flavours of yellow peaches and gooseberries complimented by a fresh acidity. This wine will pair well with most seafood, and of course drinks well on its own. Alcohol Free wines have just natural ingredients but techniques to ensure it is alcohol free vary. This includes removing sugar pre fermentation to more sophisticated techniques of spinning the alcohol out through cones. In the UK drinks that are between 0.05% and 0.5% ABV are classed as non-alcoholic.
