With just 6 hectares of 40-80 year old vines their focus is on the native grapes Furmint and Hárslevelu?. Viticulture is done by hand and the mission is quality not quantity which is evident in their wines.

White peach, lemon rind, green apple and floral notes come through easily in the nose and on the palate. The finish is fresh, creamy and fruity, with a lemon chiffon finish that carries through to the endnote

Fine and very expressive, there are citrus and white flowers, on the nose, with vanilla from some nice oak. On the palate, there is complexity, ripe fruit and a pleasant freshness. It is a very aromatic wine with notes of citrus fruits. The whole wine is well balanced between body, freshness and oak. The Château Bonnet Réserve comes from a selection of a few hectares, among the 120 of the estate's vineyard, producing white wines in sustainable viticulture. The grape varieties selected are Sauvignon and Sémillon.

The dry wine was made reductively, so the producer managed to preserve the freshness, flavours and minerality of the Mádi vineyards. The wine (1/3 of the batch) is aged for 6 months in their own 300-year-old cellar in new oak barrels. This gave the wine the extra character and spiciness typical of the oak trees here. When tasting, one can feel a very young, dynamic wine full of fresh apple, pear and citrus notes.

Pietrabianca is an elegant Chardonnay produced on the Bocca di Lupo estate in the Murgia area of Puglia. The distinctive characteristic of this area is its pietra, stone.Pietrabianca refers to the stones that rural farmers hit while ploughing the fields and once they were crushed and ground into the soil, helped enhance the aromas of the wines grown there. Rich, complex and at the same time fresh and pleasant, Pietrabianca shows that Apulia is a region of great white wines, too.

A textbook Sauvignon Blanc from the Casablanca Valley – intense aromatics of herbs and freshly cut grass, alongside tropical green fruits and lively acidity. This wine is pale yellow in colour with intense fruity aromas of pineapple, melon, citrus and guava on the nose. The palate is juicy and fresh with a racy acidity and hints of orange blossom and green pepper on the long, lively finish.

An elegant and refined white burgundy wine with delicate floral aromas and a beautifully balanced mineral finish. Pernand-Vergelesses is a small village nestled below the famous limestone Corton hill, known for the prestigious appellation of Corton-Charlemagne. Producing wonderfully mineral and fruit balanced wines, Pernand-Vergelesses offers great value and this old vines example from Vincent Girardin is simply lovely.

Forward apricot and orange blossom notes on a generous palate balanced by brisk acidity, with a marmalade finish and gentle spicing from french and US oak.

Pale lemon yellow this Sauvignon Blanc is a fresh young wine. It offers aromas of mint, melon and pineapple with refreshing citrus notes of lime and grapefruit. The palate is soft and fruity with a medium body and a well balanced acidity.

FRACTAL is a collaboration between Will Lowe MW and winemaker Nick Lane whose expertise graced the cellars of Dom Perignon and Cloudy Bay. An extraordinary still English white wine with a pioneering approach to winemaking. Zesty English acidity drives the depth created by a unique secondary fermentation method with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Ortega, and Pinot Gris all contributing to the profound complexity. Gently oaked and delicately refreshing, this wine offers a smoky nose of ripe peach, elderflower and honeycomb, a dense palate with pistachio, grapefruit, and gooseberry. Perfect for pairing with seafood, salads, or enjoying on its own, Fractal Sequence 002 showcases the artistry of modern English winemaking.

Perhaps the best known vineyard in the Saint Romain appellation, this shows a little oak on the nose with very good concentration and flashes of citrus. The palate too shows some toastiness with a sweet frame and the whole is very juicy with good energy. Long and concentrated with a silky finish. Alain Gras is the reference point for St-Romain. This extremely steep village was considered part of the Hautes Côtes de Beaune until 1947. The vineyards are set back from the main Côte and mostly at higher elevation and have unquestionably improved in quality by the changes in climate and no longer struggle to reach full physiological maturity. The domaine covers 12 hectares with 8ha being planted with Chardonnay and 4ha to Pinot Noir. There are 42 separate parcels but Alain prefers to blend the grapes into one cuvée.

Mega-fresh, lively character, with tropical hues of fresh kiwi, lemon, lime, and melon, with orange blossom, and herbaceous tones. And the vibrant acidity and intense, ripe flavours give this wine a really expressive profile, clean and lifted, with balance, and a subtle grip. Really nicely made wine. Perfect accompaniment for fresh or smoked seafood. Oysters, crab, prawns, scallops and fresh salmon all pair beautifully with our flint dry Bacchus. Try spring vegetable dishes such as English asparagus and broad beans - a perfect match and the grassy, fresh, nettle like herbaceous notes are a hit with creamy goats cheese. Wonderful Bacchus. Great producer, crafting top quality wines at not-too-silly prices. From two plots in Puligny-Montrachet, this is a great introduction to both Burgundy and the Montille style. A wine of purity, elegance and finesse.

This is a richer, full bodied and more complex white wine with minerality and almonds. Tbh this wine is so special that it’s difficult to describe. Although it’s a heavier white, it can also taste light and even sometimes a little floral. It’s contradictory. And that’s why I love it. Serve it only lightly chilled. This is a heavier white so it can take on some heavier white meat dishes. But as Piemonte is the home of Risotto, we think a really simple cheese, pumpkin or saffron risotto is a great pairin Timorasso is one of Italy’s rarest grapes. It’s only grown in a tiny area by a few winegrowers. It’s spectacular, though. The Italians call it the ‘White Barolo’ and you know how obsessed everyone is with Barolos.
