Natural, organic Macabeu from a beautiful vineyard in Calce, Roussillon. Grown with great care and wildly fermented and aged in old oak barrels. Floral, racy and minerally with soft texture and generous apple and apricot fruit. Just lovely. Vincent Carreras has been working in wine industry for 13 years. For nine years he worked for a winery in the south of the Roussillon, Andy Cook’s Mas Cristine and Coume del Mas. Working in the vineyard, cellar and commercial activities - the whole shebang! For four years now he has been employed by a family winery based in Maury - Clos des Vins d'Amour. Who work 25 hectares organically in the west of Roussillon. Mostly in commercial activities, but also working in the cellar. Alongside this, in 2016, Vincent started a new project - Domaine Odyssée. The 3.5ha of vineyards are in Calce and Baixas, in a heart of Roussillon. The sites are small, but unquestionably some of the most beautiful we have seen. Vincent draws on the experiences mentioned above and his time in New Zealand (2011), Argentina (2012) and Bordeaux 2011 to help fully realise what he has there in his exceptional terroir. Vincent works organically, using no weedkillers, no chemical products. He works by hand and with organic fertilizer (he is in conversion right now). He harvests his parcels by himself with friends and family. In the cellar, Vincent’s philosophy is a minimum of intervention "To keep the fruit and the terroir.". The wines are extracted gently with just a little pump over. No filtration, no fining. The only preservative is a little dose of sulphites in very low quantities at bottling "It is important for me the stabilise the wine in respect of the future customers".

The Chenin Blanc is from Vincent's friends at Coultades du Coustoubi. The '78' moniker comes from both postcodes being added together - 66 for Roussillon and 12 for Aveyron. The blend makes for a wine of great character with a precise, floral nose, a good body that has great tension with fine acidity. Really interesting and ultimately, hugely satisfying wine. Bright and fruity Sauvignon from a switched in producer, making flavourful wines for instant enjoyment at a great price.Really great vlaue.

The palate is delicately textured with gentle shape and frame. Lemon flesh and grapefruit is clear and evident throughout. Subtle secondary layers elevate dimension and capacity. There are underlying notes of tea leaf and blanched almonds, combining with a saline and phyletic thread. Leeuwin Estate Prelude Vineyards Chardonnay is a premium white wine that is produced from hand-harvested grapes grown in the Margaret River region of Western Australia. As one of the finest examples of Chardonnay in the area, this wine is pale yellow in colour, boasting a bouquet of fresh citrus, pear, and white peach aromas. On the palate, it offers a balanced blend of fruit, oak, and acidity that leads to a long and elegant finish. The wine is fermented in a mixture of French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks for 9 months, resulting in a wine that is both crisp and complex. This wine pairs well with seafood and poultry dishes and is an excellent choice for any occasion.

One of the best of Alsatian dry Muscats. Deftly crafted, lifted, lilies and blossom. Impressively concentrated and ripe, but so fine, so delicate.

Medium-dry style with lots of ripe peach, apple and pear flavours. The luscious palate is weighty but balanced by good freshness. Pale gold colour with greenish tints; delicate bouquet with notes of white flowers and vanilla; dry, clean and elegant flavour with an attractive, lingering aftertaste of fruits and spices.100% Cortese

Made from two lieu dits, high up on the slopes overlooking the majestic Rhone. The wine has classic Viognier nose of peach, apricot, toasted spice and honey. Medium-bodied with good fruit and texture and shows a more mineral character than the richer Le Chatillon Condrieu cuvee.

Crunchy, pure Chardonnay with a hint of creamy oak, this is a super example of modern Burgundian winemaking from the impressive Buxy cooperative. Highly recommended

This natural wine has a complex nose of citrus fruit, lemon zest and citrus blossoms along with hint of tropical fruits, herbs and sweet spices. Fresh, crisp and lovely minerality on the finish.

Produced from a blend of Pinot Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Gris this is a kaleidoscope of exotic flavours. Passionfruit, lime, bay leaf, pear, Turkish delight, lychee and rosewater. Interestingly complex yet refined, softly textured but refreshingly minerally on the finish. A wonderful aperitif, however would equally be lovely when enjoyed with lightly spiced Asian cuisine or herby chicken/vegetable dishes.

This lively little single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is bursting with vibrant zesty citrus fruit and a hint of exotic guava. Hugely refreshing, this crisp and aromatic wine is endlessly quaffable. Soft super-juicy ripe fruit and a long full-flavoured finish.

Some citrus, pear and white flowers perfumes develop on the nose. The rich aromas continue through the mid-palate. A long lasting wine, with a refreshing finish. Very versatile wine for a range of fish, chicken and salad dishes.

The Schoenenbourg Grand Cru dominates Riquewihr, the village next to Hunawihr. This marl-limestone and gypsum hillside favours Riesling. Very fruity; stone fruit, peach, and apricot forward. 8-10g/l RS. Persistent. Soft.

A seductive combination of white nectarine, pink grapefruit and candied orange rind mingles with the more savoury aromas of roasted chestnuts and hot buttered brioche – an elaborate concoction infused with linseed and woodsmoke. The savouriness carries through onto a wonderfully dry palate that has great texture and concentration, with distinct flintiness, tight structure and terrific ageing potential.

Family Hasselbach of the Gunderloch Estate own around 4.5 hectares of this prime vineyard made up predominantly of very steep parcels. It yields wines of striking mineral character paired with a broad spectrum of expressive spice and fruit aromas.

L’Invite 2023 displays more of the richer and classic Viognier characters than is usual from this extraordinarily high and stunning terroir of schist with large pebbles of basalt mixed in. These characters marry well with the awesome minerality this site constantly shows. An absolute stunner.
