At first on the nose, you are like "What even is that?". Whatever it is, you know that you like it. Elegant, subtle fruit is intermixed with gentle herb, earth and savoury charachters. Deep and wonderful. On the palate the wine is elegant and deep again, but not heavy in the slightest. Ruffled fruit and savoury notes with minerality and real finesse. These wines are like no other from the Roussillon. Outstanding.

Classic Valpolicella grapes of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella made using the ancient part-dried grape technique to achieve fuller body and smoother tannins. This has a ripe bouquet with raspberry and redcurrant notes. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins. It is a little austere at first, but seems to “relax” in the glass and turn in an agreeable structured finish with a gentle grip. This is the kind of Pinot Noir that will be enhanced at the dinner table.

The wine is deep red with youthful violet hues, with a nose that offers an intriguing mix of cherries, raspberry sweets and pink pepper. The palate offers wild cherry, blackberry and a hint of balsamic balanced by spicy oak. This wine has a high level of natural acidity, well-balanced by the fine, rounded tannins.

Ripe plums, mulberry, cherry blossom, and violet aroma while infused with subtle hints of cinnamon and sweet spices. The palate is gentle and the tannins fresh but rounded.

Another classic vintage for Caronne Ste Gemme, but with some lovely rich ripe fruit. Already a perfumed wine, this is generous and likely to be rich while also balanced. Blackberry fruit and fine acidity balance the structure. There is good aging potential here

A complex Beaujolais packed with alluring red-fruit and herbal elements that interplay across your palate in perfect harmony. Medium-intensity ruby in colour, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red plum, fig, hay rhubarb, raspberry, red currant, violet, black tea, and hibiscus. On the palate the dry, medium-bodied Beaujolais has medium-plus-intensity, floral flavours suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a black-tea-infused, long finish. The midpalate sings, and you won’t want the experience of enjoying this wine to end.

Made from 100% Cinsault that's from a single site of black shciste in Espira. The vines are 130++ years old. The medium ruby-colored wine has pretty, juicy notes of cherries, dusty spice-box and dried flowers in a medium-bodied, delicious, charming style. Elegant, thrillingly mineral and very long.

210 of the almost 1,000 hectares on the Vega Sicilia estate are used for vine growing, which include 19 different types of soil and 64 plots with very specific characteristics. The influence of the course of the Douro river and time itself have played a key role in the notable use of these soils.The rainy end to the harvest left its imprint on the wine from this vintage. 2013 was a year to spend time in the vineyard, tend to it with care, and not rest on one’s laurels during harvest. This Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is vibrant ruby red colour, and combines aromas of ripe blackcurrants with flavours of juicy plum on the palate with smooth tannins and a rich long finish.

Dark violet colour, well complimented by rich aromas of dark fruits, plum and blackberry, with notes of spice and a hint of vanilla. Medium bodied and full of fruit flavours- blackcurrant, even a hint of dark chocolate. Warm tannins and a fine finish.

A lovely wine from an artisan family winery producing wines in a natural style. The winery was built on a gravity feed system and uses pneumatic presses to extract only the best juice. They practice sustainable farming and winemaking. Very deep opaque ruby, red fruit on the nose and big legs sticking to the side of the glass. Soft and silky on the palate with red and black fruit flavours, and good palate cleansing acidity on the long finish.

A very quaffable, easy drinking example of this Argentinean favourite. With copious amounts of blackberry, plum and cherry. Rounded tannins make this soft on the pallet with a fresh finish that makes you reach for another glass. Vegan.

From a legendary New Zealand producer. Really pleasing nose. Straight up, classical, pure. Slightly smoky, but soft too. Creamy, sweet lemon, slightly pithy on the finish. Clean, simple, and pleasing.

This vibrant blend is packed with aromas redolent of ripe plums, sweet spices and hints of green pepper. Fresh and round on the palate, this is a very pleasant, food-friendly wine.

Nice nose with notes of red fruit and Morello cherries. Very fresh, with soft tannins, it offers a nice balance and great complexity in the mouth and a long finish.

This is our own labelled house wine and one of our best sellers. Typically juicy, with lots of delicious red fruits, a lick of oak adding some vanilla, and soft tannins at the finish. Every mouthful is so enjoyable.

This wine is deep red in colour with violet highlights. It offers intense aromas of red fruits and plums, overlaid with pleasant notes of wood. It tastes fruity on the palate, with rounded tannins, which, together with a delicious acidity, go to make up a long, delightful finish with plenty of mature fruits.
