The grapes for the Winemaker's Selection Sauvignon Blanc come from selected vineyards that grow close to the Pacific Oceans coast in the Aconcagua Region, on rolling hills at an altitude of 100 to 300 meters above sea level. Gentle Pacific breezes and morning fog make these vineyards ideal for producing refreshing Sauvignon Blanc.
Grapes were picked by hand and taken to the winery, where they were carefully destemmed, crushed and pressed. The must was lightly clarified and fermented in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation the wine was kept on their lees for three months to intensify its distinctive fruit character and develop a nice texture.
The nose displays citrus aromas of lime and tangerine. The palate features flavours of mandarin, tropical fruits and herbal notes. A wine with refreshing acidity, great depth and persistence.

"The conscious part of Pieter Walsers highly original brain thinks that this was the best blend of white grapes in the cellar, combining Verdelho, Palomino, Riesling, Chenin, Crouchen and Hárslevelü. Aniseed, pepper spice and wet stone flavours are complemented by notes of peach and creamy lees." - South African Special Report
Every one of Pieters wines is a story, rather than a grape variety, and its the juice inside the bottle which reveals that story. He doesnt own any vines, but instead scours South Africas winelands for top-quality fruit that has somehow slipped under the radar, now sourcing from nearly 70 sites. Some years hell make 20 wines, other years 35. With the benefit of anonymity, variety and regional identity take a back seat while parcel expression does the driving. These are some of South Africas most original wines, made by one of South Africas most original winemakers
"2020 was a very good year for whites, and they harvested very early. The 2020 Ultreia Godello shows restraint and very low pH (3.2!) with high acidity (6.6 to 6.8). None of the whites go through malolactic, and this is the freshest vintage of this wine so far. This is now made with mostly own grapes from Cacabelos and Ponferrada (in 2022 they will own around 80% of the vineyards used for this wine), matured in a mixture of barriques, oak foudres and some concrete. It's super tasty, mineral and finishes dry. There are some 30,000 bottles of this wine. Drink 2022-2026."
93/100 Luis Gutierrez, Wine Advocate, January 2022
"The enigma that is Raúl Pérez continues to enthral wine lovers the world-over with his own-brand of inspiring, light touch winemaking. Having almost single-handedly put Bierzo on the map, Raúls guru-like status (and appearance!) has inspired a whole new generation of dynamic winemakers across the entirety of Spain."
"As new vineyards come in to production the main white of the project is now produced from majority estate fruit, mostly from the eastern part of the Bierzo zone, on schist and clay soils, from vines averaging 30-35 years old. Harvest here takes place a full 20 days later than in Valtuille, yielding grapes with high natural acidity and only 11-12% potential alcohol, which provides excellent blending material. 25% is sourced from Cacabelos on deeper clay-stony soils, and the final 25% from Valtuille where the vineyards have a higher percentage of sand in the soils. All plots are fermented in oak tank and assembled just before bottling.
Aging takes place in barrels of various sizes and ages. The 2020 has a really good freshness and bright, zingy personality moreish but with plenty going on, it is always on the youthful citrus, white fruit and flowers."
Bright straw yellow colour, even very intense, with nuances of greenish yellow, it has an elegant, intense nose, with aromas of hawthorn and acacia blossoms that give way to a fruity weave of citrons, mandarins and tropical fruit.
Carpano Bianco has a light yellow colour, a fresh and complex aroma and an easily identifiable winey note, in addition to citrussy and exotic fruit flavours. Fresh cocoa beans and almonds complete the bouquet of this delicious vermouth. An initially smooth and velvety palate is rounded off by a complex winey note with mineral tones. Persistent and delightful, this vermouth is perfect for any occasion.
100% Aligote located in the terroirs of Bourzeron. Manual harvest and sorting, aged in oak barrels (demi-muids) 10 months.
Beautiful wine with a golden glow. Its nose evokes acacia, white flowers with a touch of exotic fruits. The mineral aromas blend perfectly with notes of citrus, honey and a slight touch of hazelnut. The richness of the terroir of this plot brings roundness and length.
Water-white. Very introvert nose. Still extremely youthful but with hints of a complex cocktail of passion fruit and minerals to come. Grainy texture on the finish. This is a baby! Super-clean finish.
Jancis Robinson MW
Pale lemon in colour, this Sauvignon Blanc combines aromas of fresh grapefruit and lime, followed by green gooseberry and melon on the palate. Herbaceous flavours marry exquisitely with fresh tingling acidity creating a crisp lively finish.
Always a charmer (and award-winner). Has shot to brilliance recently, in an interesting direction: so much 'terroir', smells like posh Chablis with seashell and wet stone, then opens out with Meursault-like punch plus a chalky-saline grip. Faultess.
The appearance of Dandelion Vineyards Enchanted Garden of the Eden Valley Riesling foretells the pristine and unalloyed quality of its fruit. Classic aromatics of citrus zest, lemon foliage and hints of dragon fruit flowers are etched by a clear steely minerality. This is an attractively textural wine displaying the varietys intense purity. Bone dry, its structure and length is underpinned by austere acidity.
Vines of average age 40 years. It is important to understand the subsoil and originality of the different parcels that make up the cuvée Terroir, seeking to be above all the full expression of Chardonnay. On the palate is developed the freshness of minerality peculiar to Pouilly-Fuissé.
From younger parcels in premier and grand crus including Brauneberger Juffer, Himmelreich and Treppchen, all grapes are of Qmp status. Quite simply a perfect essence of young, ready to enjoy Mosel style at a deeply tempting price.
Fermented in steel and aged for 2 months in French oak It has lovely floral and citrus fruit notes on the nose, more on the palate and thirst quenching acidity. Really pleasing to drink on its own or with creamy dishes.
