El Porvenir
This is El Porvenir's emblematic Torrontes. They have been making this wine since 2004 and it is the result of 3 different harvest days in search for good acidity, freshness, intensity in the aromatics, and nice weight in mouth. Wine of elegant colour with shades of bright greenish yellow. Fresh and fruity character, intense and typical, with an interesting floral aroma that brings memories of roses. Yellow with bright greenish tonalities. Good character with nice citric notes. Good structure, balanced and with a very nice acidity.

Saffron Grange
We are very excited to be able to bring you the 2019 Brut Classic Cuvée. This multi award-winning wine has won a 2023 Decanter World Wine Award, an International Wine Challenge and a Wine GB Award and most recently has been named as one of the top 100 UK wines in 2023. 2019 was another outstanding growing year for us in East Anglia and prior to the record-breaking summer of 2022, the hottest temperature ever recorded (a whopping 38.7 degrees) was measured just down the road at the Cambridge Botanical Gardens in July 2019. This wine is made from 50% Pinot Noir, 15% Pinot Meunier and 35% Chardonnay grapes and has been aged for 38 months on its yeast lees. The nose is packed with red apple, red berries and creamy brioche balanced with a palate of vibrant grapefruit, soft stone fruit and a hint of honey. With our renowned flint minerality coming through, this wine has an elegant, yet long finish. We think that this is a delicious and complex sparkling wine a perfect one to enjoy with a classic like Fish and Chips, a Sunday Roast or even on its own as a delicious aperitif.

Domaine des Trinités
Natural wine from Simon Coulshaw: no cultured yeast, enzymes, chemical tannins or fining product. 90% 130 yr old-vine Cinsault, 10% Syrah. I was instructed to chill this a bit before tasting. It was in the fridge for about 25 minutes and then left out for 10 minutes before tasting. Fresh red-berried nose. Hurrah! Here is another Languedoc producer who 'gets' Cinsault. Perky, bright, raspberries and with that lovely telltale Cinsault salty-sweet tang that always reminds me of the best prosciutto or jamon. A bit of white pepper and ground cumin tangled into feather-light sinews of tannin. This is absolutely YUM. Tapas/aperitivo wine, without a doubt. I could drink this all summer long. Bodegas Gratias
"Comboi", is a local Valencian expression that is used when a group of people come together to have a good time, full of enthusiasm and joy, a bit like the wine! This is a Pet Nat lightly sparkling wine created "metodo ancestral" from 100% Bobal grapes. Strawberry coloured fizz made with minimal intervention, offering up fine bubbles, aromas of red fruit and brioche notes. Weingut Schatzel
Bright, intense and dry Riesling with rich peach, ripe citrus fruit with a mouth-watering acidity and a persistent lengthy finish. Delicious, organic wine from a great family producer. The Schätzel family has been producing wine since 1350, making them the oldest winemaking family in the Rheinhessen. The red slate of the vineyards around Nierstein, where the estate is based, spans six hectares, of which the majority is Riesling. In 2008, when Kai Schätzel took over his family’s estate, he transformed it to organic and biodynamic farming and reintroduced traditional winemaking methods. He has developed a reputation for his unique style which involves less alcohol, less exuberant fruit, more minerality and a more cutting and distinctive flavour profile.

Baccolo
New wine laws from the 2020 vintage prohibit the use of the Appassimento (partial drying) technique for white grapes from Veneto, so sourcing of the Garganega for this lovely wine has moved to Puglia. The blend of Garganega & Sauvignon remains the same, with Sauvignon Blanc still coming from Veneto. Partial maceration with dried grapes and cold fermentation enhances fruitiness and elegant aromatic notes. The change has resulted in even better wine, that's perfect as an aperitif, with delicate first courses or white meats and fish. Vegan.

Dominio de Pingus
Parker's Wine Advocate 94-96/100 "The yields for the 2021 Flor de Pingus were "normal" according to Sisseck, who considers it a more serious vintage for this cuvée, as they have planted some eight hectares of Garnacha (which represents maybe 3% in this blend) that was co-fermented with the Tempranillo and acted as a way to make it fresher. It's a little more austere, in line with the 2018, as 2019 was riper and 2020 a little more diluted. Yields in 2021 were lower than in 2018. The wine is subtle and a little backward but very balanced, with a polished palate and very fine tannins, focused, fresh and with a sense of harmony and purity that I liked. The oak is very integrated, and the wine is quite perfumed and elegant. This has 14.2% alcohol but it doesn't feel like it at all; the wine is juicy and balanced, a little austere, which I liked, but at the same time it feels quite polished." Domaine Castera
So electric, so brilliant, so intense - tangy cooking apples, salty and savoury depth that's ever so juicy. Incredibly long, with an insanely beautiful rexture to boot. What a wine! We hope you fall as deeply for this wine as we have. 60% Petit Manseng, 30% Petit Corbu, 10% Gros Manseng. The Tauzy vineyard is exposed to the east. A fresh plot which allows the grower to push the maturities without the risk of developing over-ripe aromas and flavours. The soil is clay with iron. Yeild is 35hl/h with harvest carried out by hand in late October - only picking healthy, ripe, undried grapes. Vinification sees a slow pressing in whole bunches using only indigenous yeasts with no additional SO2 at this stage. Vinified in old wooden barrels of various sizes and sandstone eggs then aging on fine lees for 8 months in these containers, then a final three months in stainless steel vats before bottling with a very low dose of SO2. This dry Jurancon combines power and finesse and shall work well with smoked fish, grilled sardines, scallops, poultry in cream and strong sheep cheeses. Decanting recommended. The wine shall age gracefully for at least ten to fifteen years.

Savage
Duncan Savage matriculated at Rondebosch Boys High School in 1995. In 2016. Savage Wines was set up in the heart of Cape Town in Salt River. Vineyards for his wines are leased and grapes sourced from around the Western Cape, maritime in nature where possible. Granitic soil is the focus. From Duncan Savage: Grapes sourced from the Langverwagt farm in Kuils River on the outskirts of Stellenbosch. Decomposed granite soils overlooking Table Bay and False Bay, a perfect home for maritime Stellenbosch Syrah. Three parcels of vines, all trellised but farmed as a sprawl canopy - a trellised bush vine of sorts. Soils are poor, vigour is low and grapes are scarce, all a perfect recipe for classically styled Syrah. All the fruit is sorted as whole bunches before spontaneous fermentation in conical foudre and open top fermenters. 30% of the fruit is fermented as submerged cap with regular aeration, the balance as a normal fermentation with 2-4 aerated pump overs per day. 2-3 weeks on skins is followed by basket pressing and aging in old 500L barrels for 13 months. The wine then spends a further 10 months in foudre prior to bottling. 2021 is a classic vintage. Obviously I’m slightly biased, but I do feel that this wine may be one of the best Savage Reds we have made to date. Plums, lavender, cola, violets and the characteristic Langverwagt white pepper. The palate is taught and focused compliments of the granitic soil tannin structure and a classic vintage. A wine that will drink well for the next 10-15 years
