This Rosado is crammed full of juicy wild strawberry, raspberry and cranberry fruit. Rich in colour, the wine is crisp and well balanced with a long finish of strawberries and cream.

Pastrana is a single vineyard, on the crest of a hill near the sea, therefore cooled by the sea breezes. These grapes have great intensity of flavour. The wines are aged for longer in American oak casks than La Gitana Manzanilla. Pasada Pastrana is deeper coloured as a result, and is savoury, refreshing and hugely complex.

Quite literally oozing with prunes, dates and raisins. With 360g/l residual sugar, you can't see through this but you can stand your spoon in it. Best served with top quality vanilla ice cream.

A beautiful golden brown colour with a toffee and caramel nose.

A pungent aperitif, but also great with many foods: Tapas, soup, dry cheeses and even beef. Intensely rich pervading walnut aromas. The palate is dry, intense, rich and deep with a long and powerful flavour.

Viña Arroba, meaning “enchanted vineyard” is a captivating wine from Spain’s sun-drenched vineyards. This crisp and refreshing white wine has flavours of stone and tropical fruit and ripe apple. A lovely match to grilled fish, creamy pasta and risotto.

This is a soft, easy drinking dry red wine full of delicious ripe fruit flavours. Enjoy it with tapas food or simply on its own.

A small family-run bodega near the village of Navarrete, in the heart of Rioja D.O.C., making wines of great integrity and some finesse. It was founded in 1918 and is today run by Antonio Navajas and his wife. This is a big favourite of many of our customers and on a 'value for money' basis it is not hard to understand why.

Parker 95 "from a warm and ripe year, but the wine doesn't show heat. It feels a little riper than the 2007 I tasted next to it. It has more depth and complexity than the Gravonia, with the aromatic profile closer to a white Hermitage than any other white I can think of. The palate is bone dry, with some austerity and pungent flavors, where the flavors include lemon peel, beeswax, herbal tea and dry hay."

Very good Rioja that offers superb value. One year in a mixture of French and American oak barrels, adds texture and flavour to the tempranillo dominant blend from one of Rioja's most consistent producers.

So mature and complex! Loads of farmyard and forest floor and mushroom on the nose. Still tightly packed and intense.

Straightforward, crispy and delicious. Apple and citrus set the tone. Colour is pale yellow and nose is fruity and floral. Quite a lot of weight and some leesy complexity. A lot of nice dry white for the money.

Aromas of citrus fruit and citrus peel are welcoming but basic. This rosé feels flush yet fresh, with proper balance. Clean but limited flavours of citrus and stone fruits finish steady and avoid the common plague of bitterness

Tim Atkin 96 The Bosconia vineyard, which has always been vinified separately at the winery, has more clay in the soil and tends to produce richer, plumper wines that are priced below Tondonia. This cuvée of Tempranillo with 10% Garnacha and 5% each of Graciano and Mazuelo has caressing sweetness, supple tannins and notes of dill and tobacco. 2019-28 James Suckling 95 A stunning vintage of this Rioja classic. Ripe and concentrated, yet cool and delicate with tons of fine tannin. Lots of earthy, autumnal Burgundy-like nuances, as well as notes of violets and plums. Long, complete finish. Drink or hold. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 93 2006 was a hard year to follow, even if 2007 was a great year in Rioja and exceptional for López de Heredia. The 2007 Viña Bosconia Reserva shows a little tannic, fulfilling the reputation for being a more rustic wine than Viña Tondonia. There are notes of chocolate-covered cherries and hints of forest floor...

Surprisingly creamy, warm and nutty, with fairly low acidity and just a very soft tangy edge in the background. Hazelnuts and almonds. Hints of toffee. Hazelnuts, almonds and honey coated peanuts. A very light hint of olive brine in the end. Medium finish.

Very pale golden yellow. Highly perfumed nose exhibiting tropical and white flower notes. A sweet wine unfurling a pronounced fruit sensation on the palate and delicate acidity on the finish. Drink well-chilled. Ideal as an aperitif.

Rich, sweet and intense, it is loaded with raspberry and black cherry aromas, cedar chips and pretty violet notes and a hint of vanilla. The vanilla pops back again on the palate with caramel and supple grapey flavours.

Light, breezy, off-dry Rosé made from ripe Shiraz that has a little skin contact in the press before being made as a white wine.

A very good example of Rias Baixas Albarino from a small cooperative that's got it just right, producing wines with verve, bright acidity and thirst quenching drinkability. This stylish Albarino is a stand out great value white. Poised, with bracing acidity and a touch of Atlantic salinity it also has serious weight of fruit and concentration, with a rich citrusy palate and long finish. Try it with prawns, bass, hake, anything from the sea, or on its own.

Priorat is the most exciting wine region in Catalunya and lovely David Marco one of its most sensitive winemakers., Composed of: 52% Grenache, 34% Carignan, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Merlot. An intense fruit-led aromas, with flavours of red berries, cedar, toffee and toasted oak. A long and vibrant finish. Low added sulphites <50mg

This modern, crisp white demonstrates bright citrus characteristics on the nose, while offering deliciously vibrant apple fruit flavours and a zesty twang courtesy of the Sauvignon Blanc on the palate. A long clean finish with hints of grapefruit.

Crisp white fruit and apricot nose with a light nutty element and a Meursault-esque butteriness. Dry, soft but fresh acidity. A lovely depth of mineral laced, grassy white fruit with hints of apricot and nuts. Xarel-lo 100% Producer Profile In the little town of Vilafranca del Penedes in Cataluña, Irene and Laurent are challenging the traditional perception of DO Penedes wine. Converting their vineyards from the typical Penedes high yields and abandoning all forms of chemical treatment and fertilisers, they follow basic organic practices. Much of the construction and equipping of their cellar was modest and homemade, including building their own tanks. Production remains small, yet as they identify further small vineyard sites their range has extended to include distinctive wines from the indigenous varietal Xarel-lo, which they choose to do extended fermentation with, using indigenous yeast and it is then left on its lees to increase the richness and compexity. Viticulture With vines trained gobelet style, the vineyards are approximately 45 years old, on clay and limestone soils, yielding approximately 4000 kg / Ha. Practicing lutte raisonnée. Winemaking Vinification in 228l and 700l french oak barrels, fermented with wild yeast, after fermentation 2/3 parts are aged in 700 litre French oak barrels and 1/3 parts in stainless steel.

A deep cherry colour with violet tints. Nose is intense with aromas of ripe red seasonal fruit, subtle hints of violets, rosemary and a touch of black pepper. This Bobal shows distinctive power, vibrant fruit, freshness with soft and ripe tannin. Bobal, ancient and native to the parched plains inland from Valencia grows in gnarled bush-vines like the Shiraz of Barossa. Yields are small and concentration epic. This slinky number is dark and dense but wonderfully juicy, with a coconut spice from oak barrels. A forgotten corner of the wine world, but gosh what a bargain. Organic.

Ancient estate on world-class form. Certainly in the top 3 of Rioja. Just classic.

This wine is from an area generally associated with sherry production, but in fact Cadiz has a long forgotten tradition of making red wines, with records dating back to the 14th century. Owned by the renowned Gonzalez Byass family, Finca Moncloa is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tintilla de Rota and Petit Verdot aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels. A cherry red wine with intense aromas of red and black fruits and a balanced palate with notes of fruit, spice and oak.

Fruity aromas enveloped by noble woods, with hints of vanilla and toast. Suggestive, enveloping and polished. Palate: It fills the mouth without aggressiveness, smooth and round. Ready to drink, although it can be saved some years.

Mid-deep ruby. Ripe, red-cherry fruit, with beautifully layered clove and cedar oak spice notes. Lovely integration of oak and fruit. Well crafted, though there’s a good backbone of fine tannins that will carry it through for a decade from now.

Medium body. Black fruits flavours. Sweet tannins, mild acidity. Mild spicy oaks. Balanced. Very drinkable
