Join us for a splendid evening as we taste some marvellous Crémant, White, Rosé and Dessert wines from Bordeaux at Peterhouse college – the oldest college in Cambridge. The event will be hosted by CWM’s co-founder and Bordeaux wine buyer Hal Wilson, and special guest presenter, Joe Wadsack. The event will include some light canapés.

Celebrity chef and wine expert, Joe Wadsack is known for his various television appearances and contributions to a number of culinary publications, he has worked as a judge at international wine festivals and cultivated his own wines for some of the UK’s biggest retailers and wineries. Joe Wadsack is currently the drinks expert on BBC TV’s ‘Food and Drink: Series 3’ with host Tom Kerridge as well as having his own series ‘Great Wine Walks’ for UKTV’s Good Food Channel.
Hal Wilson is the Co-Founder, Managing Director and wine buyer of Cambridge Wine Merchants. Hal was named Independent Wine Buyer for 2020 by the London Wine Fair Awards in its inaugural year. He is a senior judge with the Wine Merchant Top 100 wine competition and judges in many other wine competitions in the UK and Europe. He appears in a list of the Top 100 most influential people in the Wine Trade and has been named Personality of the Year at the annual Rioja Wine Awards.
