We’ve had a fantastic relationship with Vondeling for almost a decade now. Indeed, the Barrel Selection Chardonnay has been a stalwart by the glass at our Bridge Street bar ever since it opened. Winemaker Matt Copeland makes superb quality, highly lauded wines at fair prices. Neither the Monsonia (formerly Erica) red blend or their Babiana white blend have received less than 4.5 stars in Platter’s South African Wine Guide (THE comprehensive annual report of South African wine) since the 2012 vintage.
